needs rear wiper. Home charger was slowed due to heat problem. Comfortable ride. Good acceleration. Range not same as sticker.

IONIQ Review

Not very happy with the vehicle. The mileage is 220 per charge in the summer and maybe 175 in the winter. It is really no more than a local car. The features are OK. The GPS is terrible. I don't even use it as it often does not get me where I am going. And I do update the software.

The Ioniq5 is a very comfortable, quiet car with good acceleration. A nice looking car and practical as a mid sized SUV. There have been several recalls that were not critical in nature. The failure of the 12 volt battery was the only repair related activity so far

The SUV Hatchback with no rear wiper.

After taking my car to the dealership for many recalls and minor problems, the vehicle, overall, is never dull. I always enjoy the rocket acceleration. This car can keep up with most any normal sports car on the highway.

ioniq 5

the car is comfortable with a good overall driving experience, but the driving range deteriorated rapidly after purchase (lease). a number of the electronic functions don't work well or have odd quirks that make me think that some features were designed by someone that doesn't own or drive a car. the self-lock/unlock is not good. scheduled charge is not reliable, which greatly impacts reliability (it is very annoying to find the car uncharged after being plugged in with the care announcing "charge scheduled" the night before). the driver lane assist will stop working without notice and sometimes doesn't start working with no way of knowing if it's on or just needs more time to figure out where the car is.
