Extremely pleased with handling, ease of use, battery duration.

Handles beautifully. Only thing I would change is add a rear window wiper (which they did for 2025 models) Comfortable, quiet, smooth operation. A lot of fun to drive.

This is the best car I've ever owned.

It's fun to drive, smooth, quiet, had good controls and displays (mostly). One big issue - reliability and repair speed for ICCU failures. I haven't had one but many owners report failure and weeks to months to get repair. This is a 4 hour job to swap a part. Hyundai needs to get this under control or I won't buy another Hyundai or Kia.

This has been the worst car decision I've made. The car has had constant electrical problems. I wish I still had my Chevy Bolt.

So far, my 2024 Ioniq 5 SEL is working great.

So far, my 2024 Ioniq 5 SEL is working great. No real problems. There are a few features I would like to see added, like automatic walk-away door locking similar to the automatic approach unlocking already installed.

good electric car

It works well I sure wish I did not have to plug in my phone for Apple Car Play that would keep me from buying another one. It was also part of teh sale in that I was prommised an update that would mak it cordless and its has not happened and I was told that it probably is not going to happen.

Bad Quality!

The vehicle's battery was weak and needed constant charging. When fully charged the vehicle did not get a lot of miles, and the charge on the battery would die quickly.

Love my Ioniq 5 -- the perfect bounce around town car

I've mostly just driven it around the Kansas City area, and it is so quiet and comfortable. We've taken 1 road trip, and it was pretty easy to charge it on the road in Des Moines.

Poorly built

We loved our car until it was involved in a minor fender bender that resulted in the car being totaled. Either our car was a lemon or there is such poor design that wiring harnesses are placed near the rear bumper and if you have impact they all become destroyed resulting in over $20k in damage. This is a poor quality vehicle that was hidden behind great features. Hyundai should be ashamed.

Mid level Entry EV

Had high hopes with the limited trim of this model but quality, OTA updates, build quality issues and ICCU issues make this a hard sell to others. Will be searching for replacement options outside of the Hyundai / Kia Family once lease is up.

Great electric car

This is the best car I’ve ever had. Roomy, comfortable, quiet, fast. The software really needs improvement and more frequent navagation updates to make charging on roaf trips easier. The lane centering is poor, but adaptive cruise control is great. The steering feel is too numb, and the car wallows too much on undulating pavement, but ride is great on most roads.
