Absolutely Superb Tesla Service - They answer the phones!!!

Holy cow, real people answer the phones and actually know about cars. Imagine that! Will never go back to the Tesla dealer ever. OMG! Thank you. And they gave me Uber vouchers too!

Porsche Boxster repair.

I have a 2003 Porsche Boxster with196,000 miles on it. I drive it every day and I love the car. I’ve relied on Carmine’s Import Service to keep my car in a good running order for years and they have consistently done an excellent job of accommodating what is now an antique car. I do believe that they care and have as much pride for the car as I do. I highly recommend.

Voided my factory warranty

I brought my car in to have them replace the transmission because it's been acting up since I purchased it used 2 years ago. This would be the second time I brought it to them for the same reason, but last time they told me I could go to Nissan to have it fixed because it still was under the factory warranty. Nissan did not help me when I took it to them that time. This time with Carmine they charged me $600 to essentially void my factory warranty. They took my transmission apart to check if it needed to be replaced (charging me $600 to do so), before telling me it would be cheaper to just take it to the dealership and that I needed to have it towed to the dealership. Mind you this took over a week to be sorted out with little to no communication in between. I had to call them if I wanted any information and the information I received was confusing. I know they voided my warranty because the mechanic at the Nissan dealership told me so, claiming they probably wouldn't be able to approve a replacement transmission under the condition my car was under when it was brought in. Also stating that whoever worked on my car must not understood how the warranty worked and that they were probably just trying to get out of having to do the transmission work at all. WOULD NOT EVER RECOMMEND.

Hadiya, you requested your vehicle to be repaired under your third-party, aftermarket warranty. You were contacted within two business days with the findings on the vehicle, and you approved all troubleshooting that was needed to follow the test plan on your vehicles issue. Your third party warranty that you purchased did not cover the repair on your vehicle. We were happy to replace the transmission and let you know the work could be completed within two days. Suspension Fix

Diagnosis and fixed the next day. 2016 Tesla S - they handled it all very well and took care of all my issues after the Raleigh Tesla Service Center could not. I will use Carmines going forward for all my Tesla S needs. They know their cars and care about fixing it the right way.
