Would not buy this car

We are currently leasing this car. I would not buy, nor lease another one. The passenger tilts back towards the seat meaning hips are lower than knees, cramping hamstrings. There is not enough room for legs and feet to get comfortable. This particular vehicle does not have turbo, so there is very pick up speed. It does get excellent gas mileage. The driver’s seat is more comfortable.

Best SUV ever owned

Worst Vehicle I Ever Purchased in my entire life of buying cars Lemon.

I purchased a brand-new 2023 Hyundai Tucson in March of 2023, and I’ve been facing issues ever since. After a month, I visited the dealership, and I’ve been taking the car there ever since. In under a year, I’ve had to replace seven horn assemblies. When I filed a claim under the Hyundai Lemon Law, they attempted to deny it, knowing that the car was defective. They also replaced the brakes at 5,000 and 15,000 miles, replaced the front seat, and fixed the radiator wiring. Additionally, the service department discovered an AA battery inside the frame when the car was manufactured because it was spray-painted blue. Hyundai vehicles don’t hold their value, making it difficult to trade them in. I can’t wait for the day I’ll be officially out of this Tucson because if you act me, I hate it. Hyundai could have just bought the vehicle back or replaced it, but they were being so ignorant about it. But hey, it’s a nice sporty vehicle, I just got the defective one that Hyundai didn’t want to replace or buyback, knowing it’s a defective lemon. (Forgot to mention the crackling noise I've been experience on the driver and passenger side & sour smell from the A/C when the car had 1,000 miles and counting). HYUNDAI IS NOT HELPFUL AT ALL IF THEY DID I WOULD BE IN A REPLACEMENT VEHICLE.

Air Conditioner Smell

The car is otherwise great but a smell started and took it to the Hyundai dealer. They said it’s normal for all Hyundai’s to get a sour smell and I need to turn off the AC 5 minutes before arriving to my destination. They charged me to clean the AC as this is not included in the warranty and the smell has come back 3 more times. Very disappointed.

better than average ...safe car

good car so far some small irritating features - door not autolocking is huge annoyance - never know if doors are locked for sure; came with inherent amp flaw sometimes all sound goes out - brake light is low on vehicle ... tailgaters may not see when they come on....vibration/noise when one window down have to have more than one down...price of vehicle very high compared to similar other brands...would like more customization of dash panel...more robust park assist...wish could make cameras stay on not go off after reach certain speed

I always get nervous using my brakes.

I have always had a braking problem. I realized this on the second day after purchasing my vehicle when I drove it on the highway. First, I thought it was a wheel balancing issue, and due to my busy schedule, it took me some time before getting back to the dealer. When I got to the dealer, I, with my mechanical mind, requested an alignment and balance, only to leave there with the same problem. Being disgruntled, I lashed out at the survey that was sent out after each service. letting them know that the problem wasn't fixed. I was chastised for asking for the wrong service, as if the mechanic in me should have known what the problem was. On their (the dealer's) second look, I was informed that all the rotors were warped and had to be changed. I breathed a sigh of relief until I hit the highway a few minutes later. I am still experiencing the sudden grabbing of the brakes or lack thereof at intervals every time I drive my Tucson. Driving is very unnerving for me. I have concluded that they don't know what the problem is. The aggressive attitude that was meted out to me when they changed the rotors made me not want to go back there, not even for an oil change. This is my second Tucson from the same dealer. My first Tucson also had braking issues, which took a few visits before it was somewhat rectified. The reason I kept going back was because of the staff and how they treated me throughout all those visits. When I got my rotors changed, during that visit, the associate who assisted me made me feel as if I was the problem.

Comfortable Vehicle

Nice comfortable car with good features but gas mileage around town is lacking but highway miles are great. Self driving is above par compared to Honda CRV but had problems with electronics in radio and A/C controls.
