Loved the look, smooth ride, and all the safety features it provides

I was completely satisfied with the 2023 Palisade and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in purchasing one. I have since upgraded to a 2025 Palisade and again love the look, the smooth ride, and all of the safety features.

Peeling chrome on new vehicle

Chrome paint on exterior of car, specifically the door handles and grill started peeling before the first year of its life. This Calligraphy Palisade was purchased brand new. I expected better quality.

Love the size and appointments

Really love the size of this vehicle. It's roomy and very comfortable to drive and ride in. Lots of extras. The large screens makes it easy to navigate to whatever you are looking for from phone info to radio to navigation GPS.

Very Nice Comfortable Ride

We like our Hyundai Palisade with a few exceptions. There is no lighting for the third-row seating, the sensors ice up and quit working in the winter. The steering wheel sensor does not recognize our hands on the steering wheel and frequently will not cancel the steering assist when changing lanes. the computer will tell us we are going the wrong way in a parking lot and when we leave, we can drive for hours with the computer telling us we are driving the wrong way. It will only turn off when we turn the vehicle off for 15 minutes or longer.

Would love a plug in hybrid option

Great SUV, amazing features and very comfortable for families, but would like to see a plug in hybrid option. Gas mileage around town isn’t great. Either that or a significantly larger engine that could increase performance.

Could be a great car - but…

From day one my electronic systems are been messed up and the Hyundai service center has not helped at all. I was told they needed a recall on my model but what was really needed was an update to my electronics system, which I did on my own and it was very extensive and difficult to do. My car is still not working correctly. I wrote an email to Hyundai and never even got a response- they don’t care. So I am looking for a new car - not a Hyundai.

It's okay. It's has some great features and room for improvement

For having a 3rd row, there needs to be a deeper trunk for larger families. If this is going to be their largest vehicle, truly commit to a full sized SUV. Also, within the first month of having it, my parents were loading their luggage into the vehicle, their soft sided luggage rubbed the paint on the bumper and it stripped the paint in those spots it rubbed. That was gut wrenching because this was first brand new car

Palisade 2023 Review

It’s very fun and spacious car to drive. I have drove 38k miles without any issues. However, I’m very concerns what would happen once it reach to 80k. A lots of people are complaining engine oil burning issues and Hyundai is not keeping their warranty promise.

Fun car

Loved the car when first bought but are slowly starting to regret the purchase. We have a rattle in the dome light that the dealer can’t find or fix and now our key fod’s don't start the car and the dealership can’t do anything until Monday, so no car for the weekend.

Good size & features, okay quality.

This SUV has a good amount of room with three rows of seating and the standard features are great. It lacks comfort from noise and quality of build. The window motors are weak, as I have a hard time getting them closed while driving. The seats could use more cushion, lumbar and better design. I really like the rear controls for heating & cooling, as well as heated & cooled middle-rear seats. On the 3rd row seat-was disappointed no latch in the front part and none on the back in the middle. The cruise is very difficult to understand at first. Need locks on the power fold down seats. The 6 cyl engine was a factor for purchase, and it does have power, but is not a smooth accelerator. Would like the garage opener to work when car is off, also more options to customize the screen. Overall, I would recommend for med-large families.

Amazing car, lots of factory minor issues. Too many shortcuts.

Overall is OK. Problems appeared very fast: raining in car because of faulty draining on the roof Distance sensors started failing and had to be replaced. Driving it is amazing. Interior is OK-ish. Too many shortcuts were made. I'd love for it to have self folding mirrors. I'd love the top to be all automated (not manual). I hate the auto stop -- it's so dumb. I'd love to be disabled by default. Hope it helps to make it better.

Great vehicle overall

It’s luxurious, comfortable and high tech with just a small need of improvements. The car is perfect for my family of 4. It’s also very versatile and does many things well in terms of going around town as well as on the freeway. I wish the suspension could be slightly better in terms of firmness in the rear but great vehicle overall.

Excellent Vehicle But I Have Several Complaints

Driving Assist: The parking cameras are angled in such a way that they can sometimes literally not "see" vertical posts. Entertainment/Navigation System: After selecting and using the Wi-Fi Hotspot feature, the radio audio is muted. Though the audio can be enabled again, the process for doing so is neither clear nor obvious. Features/Controls/Displays: The remote locking feature's audio beep is so quiet that it can't help me find my car in a parking lot. One More Complaint: The massage feature that starts by default after 1 hour of driving is very annoying. I had to turn it off.

The car is wonderful. It has all the bells and whistles and has served our family well. It has not had any problems except the sunroof had a leak due to clogged drain. Dealing with the dealership and Hyundai has not been a good experience.

Happy with my Palisade

My 2023 Palisade is one of the best cars I have ever owned. It is safe, reliable, comfortable, stylish, and well organized. It's great for long road trips, I drove to and from Portland to Marin County California in complete comfort. I thought I would have to stop along the way, but my car was so comfortable I easily made the trip in one day. For a larger SUV the gas milage is excellent, as I use it for my daily commute. All in all I am extremely happy with my Palisade.

A stylish car that is fun to drive, has an awesome comfortable interior and multiple safety features. It has been a very reliable vehicle and trouble free for the entire 40,000 miles and almost three years of ownership.
