2023 silver Hyundai Palisade

The vehicle overall is wonderful so far. However the exterior paint is just not a good quality and was chipped within a week of owning it and dealership would not even try to fix it. The silver plastic on interior and doors chips and scratches very easily.

Issue after issue

Radio messed up a few times as it would turn completely black and not come back on, this started at 10k miles. Then I couldn’t update it due to the built in network card was not working. So I had to get it replaced at the dealership after they got the part in. The transmission felt like it was either slipping/vehicle felt heavy as it struggled to get the next gear, this was at 20k miles. 1 rear shock went out at around 30k miles. The interior side pillars clips broke or came loose so they hang, that happened around 40k miles. Aside all the issues happening the service took forever to fix these issues due to having no parts on hand. Also they were unable to provide a vehicle during the drop off of the vehicle and could only provide 10 mile radius drop off and their locations are 15-20 miles away, so they couldn’t.

Palisade calligraphy

I like the palisade. I did downsize from having a chevy suburbans for over 20 years. I am pleasantly surprised how much room the palisade has, especially with the back seats down .

Not what I expected

SUV is beautiful, but a lot of issues which the dealer claims they can’t recreate. Steering wheel thumping, rattle when hitting bump and pressing brake. All issues are and have been issues with many owners if this vehicle but they refuse to fix.

Comfort and Mileage

Great unit for travel excellent mileage for size and comfort. Just wish they would place the radar in a more secure location. alerted a crash well after while driving down the road it had very slight damage to to front end. You think it would have went off on start up as to when it happened so when and where would have been established. Also complete dealer repair some was to be farmed out and was charged a Diagnostic for quote that was again on the estimate to insurance.
