Good. Just need to improve the breaks

My only complaint is the breaks. The tires squeal during stopping more in this car than any other I have ever driven. (Including at least 2 other EVs). When the breaks are wet during rain and I’m coming to a stop going down hill, the car/breaks sort of shudder. It’s quite odd and disconcerting. Make the breaking and stopping smoother and I would consider keeping the car.

Poor design, bad 12v battery

No back wiper, hatch extend over the bumper and is first to hit an object when backing up, battery died in 1.5 years, service is variable

Ionic 5 SEL is our third Hyundai EV lease. The first two were Kona’s.

It really is fun to drive! Lots of room. Handles as well as any car I have had. Always exceeds the EPA range. We are conservative drivers, keep it in ECO, and summertime range is up to 340!

Very good except for a load groaning noise.

The local dealer said they had a fix for this problem (groaning noise in back when driving over slightly uneven surfaces), but whatever their fix, it did not work at all. Meanwhile it has take a year to almost get to the Bluelink feature. Somehow your info systems recorded a misspelling in our email on ONE of your systems, and the conflict resulted in not being able to register. Response from customer service was AWFUL, taking weeks to make progress, calling at weird hours with folks very hard to understand. Why does it take customer service take weeks and months to answer an email concern?

Easy to dive love it.

Since buying the Ioniq 5 we have loved driving it. It has enough smarts to tell me what is wrong if anything. Driving on the highway it handles like a full size car.

It's got zip, it's got range

Car is lightning off the line in normal mode, sport mode turns the car into a rocket. Heavy enough, or food enough suspension, that bumps aren't as pronounced. Plenty big enough to haul 4 adults around and room in the back for each to have a suitcase. Self driving feature works well. Speakers aren't harman kardon, but they bump enough and have good overall sound. Free Electrify America charging has been a boon, saving money and time. 10% to 80% never takes more than 20 min, and usually less.
