It is the perfect EV for our needs!

Room for our taller family, 4 sets of golf clubs WITHOUT folding the seats down, great performance, intuitive driving modes and dash controls. Other than the lack of wireless CarPlay and more range, we do not have a single complaint! It's simply a great car.

Nice but not great

Road noise is louder than I would expect. There is a rattle in the rear end that cannot e identified. Overall we like it.

Excellent vehicle that could use a couple minor improvements

This has been a great car that has saved hundreds of dollars in fuel costs compared to gas cars with home charging. The couple of things I feel need to be improved are: 1.) When I first went to the car wash it was difficult to change the neutral setting to unlock the wheels. This needs to be easier and obvious. 2.) When I put the car in neutral there's a message to "Check rear passengers." Which is fine, but, the seat backs are down this message should not be displayed. There was 1 incident that is concerning. One day I went out to use the car and the doors would not open. Turned out the accessories battery had no charge. The car was towed to the dealership. However, they could no reason for the battery to be dead. It leaves me concerned this could happen while operating the vehicle and be without the safety features and other items that battery powers.

So much fun while feeling safe and sound

Its a fun car to drive and all the safety features make me feel safe. I had someone run into me and was out of the car for almost a month and I really missed all of those features.

Absolutely adore this car.

Probably the best car I've owned. Absolutely love the efficiency and range, love how fast it charges on road trips, love all of the features in my limited, etc. There are a few things that I would call. Call not perfect and some of them have been fixed in the 2025 models, some of them have not but overall this is a fantastic vehicle.

With the exception of a charging issue which took some time to discover and correct, this vehicle is exceptional in every way. After a year of driving my first EV, I'm never going back.

I like my Ioniq 5

My first EV. I had a 2005 hybrid Escape. So far I'm glad to be much less concerned about petroleum. Hatchback suits me well. I rarely travel outside the city. I learned NEVER assume you have enough charge.

Main high voltage battery died 3 months ago.

Car has been at dealer service since May 8-3 months!- because main high voltage battery needs to be replaced. And Hyundai gives me ZERO info on when battery will be available. For the last month and a half I have been in contact with Hyundai to buy me out of the lease, but this too is turning out to be a scam. I have not been able to contact the Hyundai agent since July 25. I will NEVER buy a Hyundai again. What a horrible company.
