Great car - the rear seat belts do click around a bit but it is a minor issue.

My car was broken and Hyundai was not able to fix it

I had battery problems that took more than 3 months to be fixed. I had issues with the A/C and after 5 times taking it to the shop they were not able to fix it. I had to end up getting rid of the car.

Great car.

Overall, the car is delightful to drive and easy to own. There are a few minor changes we would like to see -- like default to regenerative breaking (single pedal) and default to automatic high beam headlights.

Overall a good reliable car. But wiring of front harness need redesign to minimize exposure to rodents.

Fix the battery issue

This car is great. But the small battery dying because I wasn’t driving fast enough put a big question in my overall feeling. I had to get the battery replaced after less than two years. Now I need to make sure I’m driving somewhere far at least once a week. That feels ridiculous. Also Apple car play only working when wired is silly. Most other cars are wireless.

Performance, comfort, reliability

The Ioniq 5, while costly to acquire, is a fun-to-drive, reliable car. I appreciate the lack of a large, unnecessary center console. The driver has plenty of room to move around with good headroom as well. It has sufficient range for my needs.

Fast and fun to drive, a few complaints though

Fun car to drive. Very fast and cool looking inside and out. Only have a few complaints. When I first bought it, it was very quiet, but after the first year, it started creaking in the back. Not totally sure where the sound is coming from, but it is annoying. Also the carpets against the back seats (in the cargo area) fell off. I'd expect a little more of a car of this price. Aside from those things, I don't have other complaints thus far (owned it for two years).

My IONIC 5 SEL

For the amount of money I spent on this vehicle , I wished it would’ve come with the turn signal cameras like the Korean models and limited trim models, I also wished it had roof rails so I could put cross bars on the roof.

Love the car - didn't like the charging issues I had initially

Love the fast DC charging and the battery capacity. Comfortable ride, very smooth. Spacious inside for 5 people, plenty of legroom in back. Center console pretty good - sometimes requires too many buttons to get to what you want. Downsides - no rear wiper!, can't keep it in I-pedal from drive to drive - have to reset it every time. Climate control not great, audio not great.

2 1/2+ years and still happy

Great range, fast charging, fun to drive. Turning radius is oddly limited. I prefer slightly smaller car, but would buy again. Can’t turn off traffic light camera warning voice
