Excellent Vehicle

Excellent vehicle and great leasing program. However, I did not have a good experience with trying to get a spare tire for it since it does not come standard. It was going to cost around $1000 for the spare tire, rack, and custom installation. This was not told to me up front that this would be separate, and I decided not to go ahead with it once I found out how much it would be. I do not believe I should have to pay for the tire, rack, or installation since the vehicle is leased, and spare tires need to come standard on all vehicles.

You can see what I said in the pros and cons. I was impressed enough that I traded it in on a 2025 Limited, which has been pretty much flawless.

2024 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid

I like my new Tuscon Hybrid very much. However, I am only getting about 33+ MPG. When I bought the car in March, I understood I would get around 36 or more MPG. I am working with the service department at the dealer where I bought the car about this.

worst experience ever

Hyundai is the worst experience ever. They do not stand behind their product and if they decide to you have to jump through every thing known to man kind. The vehicle spent 6 of the 12 month I had it in the shop and instead of fixing the issues they kept doing the same things over and over and not fixing the issue

My car is dangerous to drive

I have had several instances when driving this suv. In many cases while drives the speed suddenly slows down as if the engine or battery is dying. I usually have to use the emergency warning to pull over to a safe spot to turn off the car and start it again. I a afraid that one day I won’t be anytime do it fast enough and get in an accident.

Overall Good

Had an initial coolant leak, loose fitting on the engine from mfg. Dealer fixed it with no problem. Mileage could be better. Disappointed that no spare tire was included. Battery issues from time to time. Resetting 12V battery seems to fix the issue.
