Competent but underwhelming

Jack of all trades master of none. The Tucson Hybrid N-Line is the bell curve in compact SUV terms. It’s your average compact SUV in all areas. It doesn’t do anything poorly but it also doesn’t excel at anything. It’s just OK.

Ten Stars-Great Hybrid

Give this car 10 stars. My Hybrid Tucson is a very well made and thought out vehicle. A very stylish curb look shows sharp aerodynamic lines. Interior is both spacious and comfortable with drivers electric seat/lumbar providing relief on longer rides. Fuel economy benefits from the dual motors with a combined mpg of 40 highway. Rear storage increases with the fold down rear seats, providing enough room for my musical equipment-piano, amp and stand. I drive mostly in town now, and take grandsons to movies, soccer practice and school pick-up. Traded 2022 Tucson Hybrid for this one, after 4 previous Hyundai vehicles. The service maintenance plan and vehicle warrantee provides means I pay ''''zero" for regular maintenance and covers any vehicle defects which have been negligible in over 10 years of combined vehicle use. I am Hyundai through and through.

The vehicle has been over-performing and meets all my expecations!

I would prefer to lock the vehicle using the driver-side door switch while getting out of the vehicle. I am not able to do it and the technician told me that vehicle is performing as expected. I think the stretch marks on the brake drum/pad of driver-side rear wheel are abnormally higher then expected in a brand new vehicle.

Good for city to highway travel

Overall pleased with mpg on this hybrid. Few odd quirks to this vehicle which include wind noise on the highway (dealer has yet to fully pinpoint) and then when on an incline, the vehicle rolls back and has a delay when it flips to EV mode and doesn’t go when you hit the gas. Also noted a few chugging moments when taking it through a car wash like an intake gets overloaded to stall the car out. Otherwise, rides smooth and comfortable amenities.

We love our Tucson. It works better than we ever thought it would.

The Hybrid helps of save fuel and then it will go about 430 miles on a small tank. The car just flows easily and has plenty of power, especially in sport mode.

I like the vehicle, I have a interior items that are disappointing.

The driver seat squeaks, and the auto door lock sometimes takes several times to lock. On the cross bar at the bottom of the steering wheel the cover is peeling. this is an area that is not touch while driving.
