Unsatisfied with MPG, and overall experience with Hyundai

AC went in the first year. I have a steady commute, in previous gas larger cars I got in the mid 20's, but I haven't even gotten close to 37 on any drive with the Tucson Hybrid. Brought it in many times, spoke with Hyundai, everyone throws their hands up as say gas mileage is a gray area. Oh well, it is a luxury car by my standards so I am impressed with the interior and many features; just bummed about the main reason I bought it which was mpg

Nice car with lots of features!

In general I like the car but 13 months later I still liked my old Santa Fa better. its great for around town and short trips but its a like small for traveling. I have a hybrid and I love the mileage I get around town and out on the interstate.

Great, but good

The vehicle is great everything about the vehicle is great I love the vehicle. The thing that makes the vehicle only good, is the fact that it does not have wireless Apple carplay or Android auto and no one knows if an update will change where it will go from wired to wireless. For vehicle that has all this technology that is a big disappointment.

Hyundai Tucson Hybrid for the Win!

After 4 owning 5 Kia's (3 Sportages, 1 Nero, 1 Forte) I was hesitant to leave the Kia brand. With my Hyundai Tucson Hybrid I was able to purchase a well-made vehicle with a good warranty (better than most) that offered my "must have" features - Leather heated/air conditioned seats and full view sun roof. By choosing the Hybrid model I get better fuel economy than any of the Sportages I owned (each racking up more than 150K miles during my ownership.) I average 30K miles/yr now, and have really reaped the rewards with this vehicle.

I bought this vehicle because it had a good review for a hybrid. I was looking for a vehicle with good gas mileage. Unfortunately I have a hard time getting the 38 miles per gallon it is advertised for. Frequently it seems the EV doesn’t work. If the engine is cold the transmission stutters when I go from coating down a hill to having to give the engine gas at the bottom.

Fun and Sporty

Love the looks and gas mileage! Very comfortable seating and lots of bells and whistles included, but at times seems to lag a little on take off. Definitely way more positives than negatives on this vehicle and size is ideal.
