Happy but suggest some changes.

Great car but I do not like push button gear shifting. Also the back up sound is very irritating and much more objectionable than other hybrids. I have a CRV hybrid same year and the back up noise is not as bad.

Perfect balance of comfort, utility, performance, fuel efficiency

Have almost 70k miles in 2.5 years. Low maintenance, very reliable. I can do everything I need to do in my Tucson. Mostly a lot of highway driving for work, where the distance following cruise control, lane keep assist, and other Hyundai safety features help tremendously on long trips. Enough space for gear and family vacations. The dealer installed trailer hitch makes the Tucson usable for small utility trailers, bike racks, etc. There are smaller and larger "mid-size" SUVs, the 2023 (and later) Tucsons are a little larger than earlier model years. Four adults can fit with comfortable leg room.

Mostly good experience except for 2 issues

Recently strut on the back lift gate veoke and it came down hard on my head. I didn't realize is would come back down without closing it with the button, it was scary and it hurt. Other than that and the ac not getting as cold as other vehicles we have had, it has been a good vehicle

Good car

Enjoy driving this car. Mileage could be better on hwy, but _overall_ it has improved somewhat over time. Would like better temp control. Good interior space. Don't think it should be necessary to pay for Bluelink after 3 years.

I totaled mine.

I hydro planed with new tires on the vehicle, the vehicle tried to auto correct itself and made me over steer and 360 into a concrete wall while it was raining on 695-W in MD. I will never buy another Hyundai again. (Kept me safe (good air bags) but the car crushed up like a beer can.

Pretty ideal blend of comfort, power, and economy.

The Tucson hybrid has plenty of power for all driving circumstances. It is exceptionally quiet. I'm a large (6'4") guy, but it's still very comfortable, even for long drives. Fuel economy is impressive except for prolonged periods of steady driving above 65 mph. It regularly makes 40+ mpg when driving in town or on mountain roads. I took my father-in-law on several rides, and he was so impressed that he traded in his Acura RDX for a Tucson hybrid.

This is my third or fourth Tuscon, with an Ionic in between. The car is fun to drive, effortless, snappy acceleration and absolutely no mechanical issues.
