Great car, but annoyed at the engine knocking

this is the perfect car because most of our trips are within a 15 mile radius and that means we can do the whole thing on a fully charged battery. When trips are higher than that the gas engine kicks in at it is a Hybrid. We have over 40K miles and the MPG average is over 80 MPG. That is really impressive and the charge of the car is much cheaper than the price of gas to go the same distance.

Love my 2023 Santa Fe Plug-in Hybrid

I absolutely love my Santa Fe Plug-in Hybrid! The car drives beautifully- smooth, quiet and responsive. The car is packed with features, and the safety systems give me a real sense of security. I feel safer in this vehicle than in any car I've owned before. The fuel efficiency is incredible. I am currently averaging 173 mile per gallon! Since most of my drives are short distances, the 30 miles of electric range on a full charge is perfect for my daily routine. I can drive to my club, just 7 miles away, without even touching the gas tank- and without the guilt. I named her "Fe" and she's been nothing but amazing. I'm so glad we made this purchase. This car truly fits my lifestyle, and I couldn't be happier with it.

Decent value for the money

Entertainment system can be wonky and not always work, if using a nav app on full screen a weird lag happens, and sometimes even if phone is plugged in CarPlay doesn’t always come up. Battery drained completely this winter and couldn’t even open the car doors without using a manual key, less than 2 years old. Would be nice to have more attractive interior options, brow interior is ugly and black sucks, it’s impossible to keep clean and is extremely hot.

Hyundai Surprise

I am so surprised with the economical performance of my plug in hybrid. I had to purchase this vehicle quickly as my previous Santa Fe was too well worn. I wasn't sure about hybrids in general. I am the perfect consumer for this vehicle as I travel 10 miles each way to work every day. I usually go to the gas station once a month. My MPG over the past 8 months is over 50!!
