PHEV says it all. Only suggestion is to go from 30 all electric to 50 miles.

Hyundai remains a great choice

This is my second Hyundai Santa Fe. The first was replaced with a minivan while the kids were young. I really liked the first Santa Fe, so when it was time to replace the minivan, I didn't spend a lot of time researching. I was lucky enough to find this _very_ low mileage service loaner with all the original warranties. This made a car that is already a good value a great value. Everyone that rides in this car is impressed with it. The cabin is quiet and roomy. The mileage is excellent. There are more features than I know what to do with. I love the fact that I can plug it in and get 30+ miles on 100% electricity. I will continue to purchase Hyundai vehicles. I've already purchased three and I won't hesitate to buy another when the need arises.

Overall This Is a Terrific Vehicle

In the big picture I really like the car. There are some exceptions. The "Infotaniment" system is super slow to start up and slow and laggy to switch between functions. It's a good thing so many of the controls have physical switches. If they didn't I would take off at least one star. Maybe two. So far the build quality appears to be holding up. One exception, the part of the panel by the driver's elbow squeaks when leaned on. It's not a huge issue - yet. Maybe it won't be but it squeaked within the first couple thousand miles. The degree to which Hyundai spies on the vehicle is a huge problem. I warn people all the time when they ask if I like it or would recommend it.

Love the car!

Love lots of the features on the especially all the safety features. It’s been reliable. The hybrid helps with gas use when driving local which is what I mostly do.

Comfortable, great features

The Santa Fe fits our needs! We wanted a vehicle that could run on a battery for our trips around town, but still offer the gasoline option for our longer trips. We are grateful for the Hyundai warranty because we bought it certified pre-owned and have had it in the shop a couple times in the past year to fix some issues that came up. If I were to improve the vehicle, it would be to add a couple inches more legroom for the backseat passengers and to improve the ventilation to the backseat.

An amazing and comfortable vehicle

I love my Hyundai SantaFe Plug-in Hybrid! It is a comfortable vehicle to drive, and it gets amazing milage, once you learn how to drive a hybrid, which if you haven't done so before, is a bit of a learning curve. I am regularly getting 450 miles out of a full tank and full charge, and I do a combination of city and highway driving. The display is good, and located well, and easy to navigate.

Wish the battery lasted 50 or so miles. Get about 35 in reality.

Good vehicle so far. A little worried about mid-life and old age considering the premium we paid. We shall see as things play out over the next 5+ years.

Our first Hyundai

I like most everything about this car except the fact that when I leave my dogs in the back seat, even with the windows down, the car starts beeping. It’s irritating and restrictive. I wish there was a way to turn this function OFF!!!

The Plug-In Santa Fe has performed well.

The Plug-In Santa Fe has performed well. It gets good gas mileage for the size and the plug-in option is great. It allows us to drive around town in full electric mode and reduces the amount of gas we need to purchase. In addition, it has been great for moving things with the amount of space available.

PHEV's work

The 2023 SF PHEV is a very good vehicle. We installed a 240V garage charger, which helps us more quickly recharge the battery for our around town driving.

Great car, but annoyed at the engine knocking

this is the perfect car because most of our trips are within a 15 mile radius and that means we can do the whole thing on a fully charged battery. When trips are higher than that the gas engine kicks in at it is a Hybrid. We have over 40K miles and the MPG average is over 80 MPG. That is really impressive and the charge of the car is much cheaper than the price of gas to go the same distance.
