It's nice but needs improvement.

The touch screen doesn't respond to touchy easily. Needs a better air condition, doesn't cool that well. Very noisy with the sun roof open (with the rack on top). Needs a little longer bed, without having a wide turning base.

Almost perfect

I love this truck but have a few observations that need fixed. The biggest is the DCT transmission is hit or miss. It does hesitate and seems to have trouble staying in a gear, especially in traffic. Second is the App. This should be a life of the car deal, not a limited time for free. It does NOT cost anything for Hyundai to just keep it going. Finally, the app should send alerts that windows are down and allow them to be put up, and it MUST have the sunroof added to this application. No reason to not have this control, it is all electronic. VERY frustrating. Otherwise the truck is comfortable, gets good gas mileage, and is more than adequate for "truck things".

May seem silly, but,

I only have a couple of nits to pick on the truck. The first one is the back window. In a two row seating vehicle, why is the back window a manual opening window? You can't reach it from the front seat! So far that window has never been used in the two and a half years I've owned my truck. But I wish I could use it. Every other window and sunroof is powered, but not the one I wish had a power option. Next I wish there was about 3-4 more inches of leg room for the back seat. Not a whole lot you can do about that. And an easy removable topper for the bed of the truck.

Great Vehicle with a Multitude for Functions

The Santa Cruz offers a great deal of storage with the under the rear seat and under bed compartments. It has comfortable seating including the back for most people. The vehicle handles well including in adverse weather conditions. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a hybrid SUV/Truck. Gas mileage is also a big plus.

I like it a lot

I really like my Santa Cruz only a couple minor issues one being I’ve smelt antifreeze since day one after a long ride, pulling it in my garage. It seems to be going down on occasion, other than that slight hesitation once in a while and the electronics on the dash kind of flash in and out once in a while Again none of these things are a reason not to like this vehicle. They all seem fairly minor and so far have not become a problem.
