Tonneau cover

Everything has been fine except for my tonneau cover. There’s a recall on it I found out when I went in for service on it. I’m still waiting to hear when my replacement kit is coming in so it can be replaced. It won’t open. I hope it’s soon.

The best little truck

People ask me all the time if I like my Santa Cruz. 100% yes! It drives and rides like an SUV with the benefit of a short 4 foot bed perfect for things like camping, kayaking, toting bags of mulch, ect. One of the great features is the mileage. If I set my cruise control and keep my foot out of it it’s not uncommon to get over 30 miles per gallon.

Could use a turbo v6

fun car that could be so much better. a turbo v6 with standard transmission would take this vehicle to the next level. there would be no more comparison to ford or others..

SANTA CRUZ CALLED CALI

With the exception of having to get my tonneau cover(warranty) replaced and my tires replaced. I haven't had any issues with this vehicle. Its a great driving vehicle.

The top on the back will not open all the way and is impossible to use. Babe been to the dealership many times. We are told it’s on back order and do not know when it will be fixed Will not buy another Hyundai . Too many issues L

Alot of warranty work

I love about 50% of my truck It gets average fuel economy the oil changes are expensive and I have to have an oil pan replaced after 60k. I've had about 4 warranty jobs done. Which is almost one every 10k. Stuff my other car that's at 200k has never needed. The windows roll down on their own there is no way to deactivate that. The front bumper peels from the cheap plastic they put on it. Windshields chipped twice when again my car with 200k has a perfectly fine windshield

Its alright for the price.

The truck has a lot smaller interior than expected. Sunroof has a whistle and leaks when going through a car wash. I've had hyundai for as long as I've driven. My 2011 veracruz did not have this problem. Minor disappointment.
