So far I have not had any issues with the car. I've had it for almost two years but I dont drive it that often. I will most likely get another GV80 after a few years.

Very Nice Vehicle Except....

The GV80 is a very nice SUV in which I'm still please with, except for one thing. The wireless charging pad has worked since I purchased the vehicle, up until May 2025, when a new software update came out and that wireless charging pad stop working. Additionally, the settings menu does not contain a setting to enable / disable the wireless charging pad. Very disappointing with this disruption in wireless charging pad functionality. I took my vehicle to the Genesis Dealership and they indicated that a new software update may be coming out in the August - September 2025 timeframe. This software update should restore the wireless charging pad functionality, according to the dealership. So, I'm hoping this issue will be restored soon, and that Genesis implements quality control and verification of their software releases in the future.

I drove every SUV in this class. Drive this 5 miles and knew it was the one to buy. The technology, ease of using it and the interior quality sold it. The exterior design, fitment and build quality beat them all.

Battery went out in first year. Rear door window frame bent @ build.

Rides very well. Lots of tech. Squeaky driver seat @ rear window. Battery failed 1st year. Nice interior. Adequate power. Front license plate mount very poor design...it destroys the beauty of front grill. Needs to move out of the way.

Performance, Comfort and Quality is Good.

I purchased my GV80 brand new (13 miles). It has performed very well. I have not experienced any problems with it. I like love the off white/black interior. The Hymalayan Gray color is beautiful.

Car is great, but Safford Hyundai in Springfield, VA was a nightmare

I love my Genesis GV80, but the initial service period was a nightmare with Safford Hyundai in Springfield, VA. They should be revoked from selling Genesis since they are ruining your customers' experience.
