Exceptional Luxury SUV

We love our 2023 Genesis GV 80 Prestige 3.5! It is luxurious, quiet, comfortable and extremely well built. We continually get compliments on its appearance and especially on the 2 tone Dune interior. It is a pleasure to drive! My only complaint is that it does not have wireless Apple CarPlay and you can’t use an IPhone for keyless entry.

Lots of promises, not much on delivery

Could have been way better. Squeaks and rattles, uneven fuel economy, practically non-existent ANC, choppy ride - definitely not the luxury vehicle I was hoping for

It has glitches

The electrical has glitches. It has shut down in the middle of the road. Sometimes the screen is black. Sometimes the maps refuses to work. The dealer is wonderful about addressing these things but it isn’t ideal that they continue to happen.

Pure Enjoyment.

While I still only have 4,300 miles on my 2023 Prestige GV80 (I use another vehicle as a daily driver), I actually look forward to driving the GV80. On those occasions when I do, it’s pure enjoyment. From the plush interior, to the smooth (yet sporty) drive and all the other amenities, it truly is a thrill each and every time.

Rapid Depreciation

Surprisingly, this vehicle does not hold nearly the value of what the MSRP was at purchase two and a half years ago. Still, hands down, at the top of the class in comparison to other luxury SUV’s in its class. All the bells and whistles that come standard are a plus because those are considered add-ons with other luxury SUV retailers.

Vehicle is good. Service follow-up to issues has not occurred

Had a previous issue with rear middle arm rest dropping. Over many months it was replaced 3 times. Needed to personally follow-up multiple times as promised follow-up by service department was not received. Have a current issue on Service Invoice 74064 on Sep. 17, 2024 where I let service know the chrome on the lower front RH side repeater light was bubbling. The invoice reads "17541 CONFIRMED GUEST CONCERN. PART IS ORDERED AND WILL CONTACT CUSTOMER AFTER PART ARRIVES". Additionally on this service it noted that the clearmask was starting to lift in same area as bubbling RH side repeater and was told they would replace this after they installed the ordered side repeater light. Have not received any follow-up from the service department. Have been asked multiple times about what I thought of the GV80 and told them the car is good, but the service department is lacking in professionalism and follow-up.

GV 80 has been a disappointment.

The GV80 had an oil pressure issue that requirement several unscheduled service visits and a major annoyance. The technology in the vehicle is horrible for its class.

The car meets all my needs adequately except for the seats.

Car is very good except for the seats. In driving from Florida to New Hampshire my rear end is so sore I need to get additional cushions and are hurt for days after.
