Great Car

After a number of years with Lexus and BMW we decided to try the Genesis GV80. Our experience to date has been excellent. The vehicle offers a comfortable ride and has plenty of power with the 3.0 liter engine option. In addition this vehicle has a number of features not offered or offered at substantial premium on the BMW we were looking to buy.

GV80

It gives me the cargo capacity I require in a non-third seat row vehicle. Why buy a vehicle with something you will never use and when it is folded down restricts cargo space? It has all the functional bells and performance whistles. Some fluffy features but overall, a solid, luxurious SUV.

Great Car with a Few Tech Glitches

I love the car. If not for a few minor computer glitches it would be a perfect car. At times the car alerts me when the vehicle ahead of me is pulling away when it isn’t. I also have to keep re-adjusting my side mirrors each time I get in the car and back out of my garage. One of the mirrors will tilt down more than the other requiring readjustment. There is a good bit of a learning curve for the on-screen computer. Some manufacturers are beginning to back off on some of the technology in the luxury lines and going back to knobs as it can be a chore to navigate through multiple pages of menus to get to a needed feature. I think Genesis has a good balance between menus and knobs and dials.

Bought this vehicle used. Within the first month, the car was at the dealer for a “ghost” drain on the battery. Dealer provided a vehicle. No other issues. The vehicle drives well.

Great vehicle...I have had many. This GV80 is about the number 2 in my rating.. Love all the extra equipment; however the ride quality is somewhat disappointing..In this SUV price range I would think air suspension would be in order,, Then MY Genesis GV80 might be my number 1 best over all vehicle of all time!!
