Love my 4th Tucson!

This getting to be a habit! My 4th Tucson and 5th Hyundai! Could have done without the running board... and the dashboard and steering wheel "buttons" are not self-explanatory like my previous models.

Unsure of my car

I fear something is going on with my car. Randomly feel kinda downshift/ fluttering while driving on the freeway. Yesterday the ac shifted from high to nearly off for a minute then started again. Never had a car have issues at 500 miles! It has been taken to the dealer and they found nothing wrong with it.

Good

The owner's manual makes it hard to find anything. For instance, if I want to know about cruise control, my first thought would be to look under the letter "c". Not so in your manual. You have to look under the letter "s". That's just one of numerous items that make you have a temper tantrum.

2025 Hyundai Tucson

I hate the safety features, they are unsafe. I was in a traffic jam and the car mistakenly thought I was speeding up into a car and slammed on the brakes for me all the way to the floor making me slide on gravel. The steering wheel vibration and alerts don’t take into account when the car in front of you is turning. I hate the auto shut off and having to remember to turn it off each time. The side mirrors have a distorted view like a funhouse mirror unless you’re looking directly in the center. Part of my trim is hanging off and I called to see if that was under warranty since it only has 6,000 miles and was never in an accident and the person said they would call me back but never did. The vehicle shifts funny into first gear on normal mode, almost like a putter when you’re only going around 20-25 mph. I bought it brand new!

Great small SUV

The vehicle is great except for some weird things: (1) There is no way to open the trunk manually; (2) The touch to unlock button on the door handles (both driver's and passenger's side) does NOT work consistently (this is very annoying when you are trying to gain entry to the vehicle when your hands are full or you are standing in the rain); (3) The dashboard lights for operation of different functions are not adequately illuminated (E.G. difficult to determe whether the AC is turned on or not); (4) Haven't been able to locate the button for recycling inside air or use of fresh/exterior air; (5) there is no passenger seat adjustment for the height of the seat.
