It's a good car for 2 years

Post-warranty performance has proven unsatisfactory. While the aesthetic design remains commendable, the exterior and interior materials exhibit significant durability deficiencies. The interior is susceptible to scratching from everyday wear, and the exterior finish is easily marred by airborne debris. Furthermore, a safety concern exists regarding the automatic door locking mechanism; this feature is inexplicably omitted from standard models, requiring purchase of a premium edition. Finally, excessive interior heat generation and premature transmission failure represent critical areas requiring immediate attention and resolution.

Warning lights keep coming on despite attempts to reset them

The vehicle is basically fun to drive and operate. I've recently been to the dealership for a routine service appointment and asked again for them to reset the check tire lights and other lights that come on. They said they did but when driving home and since, those exact lights are still on. It's not the consumer experience I crave from a vehicle.

2023 Tucson

The 2023 Tucson has some issues with it. More so than my previous Hyundai. The car makes a lot of noises inside and out. Some of these are hard to pinpoint the cause. The engine or transmission jerks or hesitates at times.

Great car for a good price. Nice integrated screen in middle of dash.

Very good highway gas mileage, good in the city. Comfortable and roomy for its class. The hood is difficult to close without slamming it, but it opens ok. The outer plastic strip on the door is cheap and detaches too easily. Overall it is a good value and like the rear taillight design. The front grill design could be better.
