Good reliable car with a few areas of improvement

Overall this is a good vehicle with good comfort for the driver and the passengers. It feels stable and safe and has nice accessories and driver assist features the miles per gallon are below average in the four-wheel-drive model. I never particularly use this sport mode because the engine feels pretty underpowered for use with a sport mode. A few minor points of improvements are noted below. - when you sit in the driver seat, you right knee will jam in front of the entertainment system, in the case of a crash this would not be good for your knee, there’s not really a way to adjust the seat so the right knee is not right in front of the entertainment system, unfortunately due to the design of the center console. - the backup camera gets dirty easily

Overall Performance Has Been Very Good

Only 13,000+ miles, but the vehicle has performed very well. Great gas mileage. Only concern is the exterior paint seems to chip very easily. Have lots of areas on the front end that are showing paint chip dings.

It's a bit cheap. Tires only lasted 40,000 miles.

Not really impressed with the vehicle, I'm pretty sure I won't purchase another hyundai.

Best safety features

Having bought sedans for many years, we were somewhat afraid to go to an SUV, even a small one. We were pleasantly surprised at the comfort of the Tucson. What was surprising were the safety features. They are truly top notch and give us an added sense of safety whenever we drive it. We have found that the drive assist in cruise control is truly the best (and much better than our RAV-4). It has spoiled us to the point that we now demand this level of safety features in any vehicle we acquire.
