All the safety and all the bells and whistles.

I drive a lot every week. The lane assist and adaptive cruise control are simple awesome to have. Love the gas milage too.

Good experience overall

Cold weather gas mileage was poor (upper 20's) but it has improved a lot in the warm weather (low 30's). There is a whine in the drive train (transfer case?) at about 70 mph that is a little annoying. I really dislike the automatic shutoff feature at stop lights. I wish it could be set rather than turning it off during every trip. Sunroof is good but it develops a whistle at road speeds that takes some effort to prevent. Otherwise I'm happy with the general quality and easy maintenance (oil changes).

Pretty good

The driver’s seat airbag had to be replaced at only 31,000 miles. What a pain! I wouldn’t expect something like that to fail. At least it’s still under warranty. Also, remote features shouldn’t have to be purchased after complimentary period ends.

Refusal to fix manufacturer's defects should put off buyers

If it wasn't for the problems then it would be a decent SUV. Comfortable, good gas mileage, good cargo capacity. The problem is initial build quality, defects and the unwillingness of Hyundai to fix them. Dealership/maintenance just make excuses and make the process so adversarial that you just give up.
