Not the same quality as other Hyundai's

I am on my 5th Hyundai and was expecting the same great quality I had with my other 4 previous Hyundai's.....This was NOT the case with my Tucson.....SOON after I got it, the leather on the driver's seat starting wearing very quickly.....A little over 1 year into my lease, I took it the closest Hyundai dealership and asked them to look at it, they took pictures and said they would have the there quality rep take a look at the photos and they would get back to me.....They finally did, and their answer was "normal wear and tear" or It could have been from the "shorts/pants" I wear......REALLY???? I sent a letter off to Hyundai and NEVER recieved a reply back.....But, I will fight when I return it as I was told it was "normal wear and tear"!!!! And, small things like the handle on the cargo space in the back broke off, and the middle back seat seat belt buckle broke......I don't think prior to this car i EVER had one issue!!! THAT'S WHY I kept coming back to Hyundai, but I am certainly dissapointed with the quality and the service on this car...... Maybe it is time to move on now........

I'm on my second Tuscan and I love it!!!! My sister finally got one. She has the 26. What I like about her is the touchscreen is big. I don't really care for the simplicity of the dashboard and the fact that the rear light doesn't light up from end to end. And that's why I wouldn't upgrade. I know it makes no sense but I love the rear lights on my vehicle. Volkswagen has it on the front and back AND the emblem lights up!!!!! I would like to see Hyundai do this. And I think it was ingenious to tuck the rear wiper under the spoiler and make it so no one can steal your front windshield wipers!

Good Warranty. Good price for quality.

I have the 2023 Tuscan. It's good. Does what it needs to do. My rear window (which doesn't open) has always rattled. Drives me nuts. Dealership wants to charge me $190 just to diagnose it. Really?!

Nice car/cheap parts

Nice car. Love all the features and safety features. Unfortunately some of the parts are less than sturdy. My rotors warped in less than 20,000 miles. Service dept told me the rotors were inferior quality and they did replace them. My drivers leather seat split and was replaced. The replacement seat split in the same place. The service dept is ignoring my request to have it replaced again. I have less than 40,000 miles on the car. That being said the car rides good, is quiet and gets good gas mileage. This is my first Hyundai.

The vehicle has many good features and runs well. The dashboard screen can be maddening, and the owners manual that comes with the vehicle is often not helpful. Have to go online for information in many instances.

Mostly great but avoid paying for the "extras"

The vehicle itself it great aside from the quality of the leather seats (easy tearing, never tore a seat in any other car before) and the engine bay/ventilation system rattles. Both of those annoying sounds were deemed "normal" by service on multiple occasions. This is not my first Hyundai, nor my first Tucson, but it is my first time dealing with these noises. As for the "extras" I was referring to, I got the complete "Lux XT" (I think that's was the name) interior protection package as well as the wheel & tire protection package, etc. When driver's seat tore - or more correctly, wore out since it wasn't a cut, but a fray/seperation that became an open hole many inches long in the leather - Hyundai service had me make an appointment - which took a month lead time - and then 1hr after dropping it off for said appointment told me I had no interior coverage. I produced hardcopy of proof that I did and it was followed up with "we don't service this here" you have to go to [a specific upholstery shop] for this. Trying to make the appointment at the shop I was directed to I was informed that the appointment had to be made through Hyundai or the coverage wouldn't be applied. Hyundai service at the dealer I bought the car from denied this was the case and said, "they couldn't help me". To this day, my drivers seat now has a huge area of frayed/split/peeling leather with exposed inner foam and also now has a second fray/split mid-height on the seat back, roughly below your shoulder blade. Moral of the story is - don't buy any non-material "extras" from Hyundai aside for the Hyundai branded extended bumper to bumper 100,000mi warranty. They are a waste of money. And also their leather seats are a waste of money and WAY more fragile and susceptible to wear than their normal fabric (nylon?) seat coverings.
