A overall good vehicle
I like the car. It looks good, drives good and is comfortable. I hate some of the tech. One example of something I hate is automatic climate control that ignores my preference settings. I live in Texas a very humid place, auto climate does automatic dehumidify, where it switches from recirculating to fresh air. Every time this switch occurs my comfortable car gets blasted with humid and the associated stench. So I leave my climate control on manual so my preferences are followed. I also hate that I have to select some option to turn off certain function every time i get in the car. Such as automatic braking when reversing, the 60 minute shut off timer and many other options. I would rather not be given the option to make the choice, than to have that choice ignored every time I start MY car. Another example would be the rear accident avoidance system. I live on a busy street and when my car is parked it 50 feet from the road. if a car passes my car brakes hard to avoid an accident, THAT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN BECAUSE I AM 50 FEET FROM THE ROAD!!!! This is this the single biggest reason I will likely never by another Hyundai, the automatic climate control using automatic dehumidify even though I have selected to turn that function off is the second. I think this is a very well made car but I often feel like everything I like about the car is overlooked because of 2 VERY frustrating flaws. If these 2 flaws were fixed with software updates I would describe this car as perfect even though it has other minor flaws. I believe that if I turn off an option that I should only have to make that choice once as the sole driver of my vehicle.
