Great design

Very happy with the overall experience of my purchase of my Sonata, gas mileage could definitely be much better than what it is… especially that we are in 2023 and I’m getting gas mileage I have received from vehicles I purchased of the same size and category 20 years ago!

Vehicle runs very smooth, and have had no issues.

My vehicle handles very well. There are no issues I have experienced while operating this vehicle. From my initial date of purchase to my one year mark, this car still handles like its new. No issues and no regrets.

Drove cross country and averaged 48.5 miles per gallon of gas.

This is my 2nd Sonata! I previously had 2 Genesis and they were great on the road for comfort, packing space, etc. Truly luxury (better than Mercedes, BMW, Lexus). The Sonata is, in my opinion, a "reasonable cost luxury" car without all eyes gawking, higher cost, and unspoken boasting. Now that I'm retired, it will probably be my car of choice. A sporty grandma!

Great overall driving experience

Great on gas mileage. The safety features are second to none and highly useful. Very appealing appearance, both externally and internally. This is especially so for the limited edition. I would definitely recommend this vehicle for puchase.

Not a good one, with the service department and issues with my vehicle.

I love the look, feel and economy of my vehicle. That is why I purchased it. But, I am not happy at all that withing the first 1-3 months, I was having issues with it and am the issue was never addressed appropriately or taken care of, to my knowledge.

Enjoying my car

This car gives me good fuel economy, is fun to drive, and looks stylish. Very satisfied with Hyundai as this was my first Hyundai vehicle. I also liked the extent of the warranty that was offered by Hyundai.

2022 Sonata Limited

Loved the cars look but the sloped hood gets too many rock chips and dings. It came with 2 dings already on it and the dealership was only helpful when selling the car. Love the headlights and the interior is fantastic. Great options. The lane assist was also really good.

A decent experience

Good maintenance, fewer problems. Initial inconvenience with navigation. Update did not work for a few days, navigation still has a delay after an hour of driving. Need better navigation updates. Infotainment updates for radio needed.

Interior Leather Cracked within 3 days of owning the car, Dealerships Accuse us of cutting the seats ourselves

We have owned 3 Hyundai Sonatas over the last decade. Two of them were hybrids. Our last purchase arrived and we were super excited, however within 3 days we noticed what appeared to be a cut on the driver seat. We immediately inspected the rest of the car and this was the only issue. However within the next few days there were an additional two "cuts" in the leather. It turns out the leather was just splitting when someone would sit on the seats. We talked to multiple Hyundai dealerships, both accusing us of cutting the seats ourselves. We escalated to the Hyundai Corporate/Warranty group, sending pictures of the cracks - they also accused us of lying and cutting the seats ourselves. This experience has tainted our perspective of Hyundai and we are unlikely to purchase another Hyundai and would definitely not recommend them as a brand. As long time fans of their vehicles, this experience has greatly changed our perspective.

Good looking car poor performance and unexpected and undesirable service

The car is excellent design external look, but a number of undesirable features and poof customer support, wrote to customer service and dealer manager with no response. Service department checked the car and could not find the unable to start the car problem after 3 or more not use the cay and not able to use touchless remote key to open the back door half of the time. Very irresponsible customer support and disappointment.

Excellent build quality and comfort. Super mpg. High tech features that are easy to us and reliable. Factor maintenance program and phone app is very useful. Engine performance is slightly lower than expected.

Terrible

I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to buy this car. I have had several issues with the car and have only had my repairs done at the dealership. No one could give me any answers and the issues are still present to this day. I never though I’d spend 45k on something and be this unhappy with it

Still Enjoying

Got it new because it looked really cool, I liked the paint color and it handled well during the test drive. Still loving it a year later. Sufficient trunk space for my kids' baseball gear and my music equipment. Comfortable ride for my family of four with enough ports for everyone's electronic devices!

Bad issues

Looks nice, but many things going wrong already and I haven’t even had it for a year. Bad window road noise, driver seat issues, trunk issues, poor mpg (3-4 less than stated on every trip since day one).

Hyundai and particularly the Sonata has been my favorite since 2008. I love this car. This is undeniably my favorite car. The N Line is a very swift and powerful vehicle in its segment. It definitely completes good with vesicles in other segments.

Outstanding, beautiful automobile which is smarter than I am!

It is my second Hyundai Sonata Limited. It is the higher end of the Sonatas and, in my opinion, well worth the higher cost. Compared to other sedan brands it can't be beat at its price point. It is the equal of vehicles costing tens of thousands more. All aspects of the 2022 Hyundai are exceptional.
