Vehicle did not stop. Air bags did not go off. Insurance totalled it.

I was happy with the vehicle. Didn't understand why insurance company totalled it. Looked very fixable. Damage was only $12500. Last vehicle location I was able to get, the vehicle was at Hyundai Tech Center in Ypsilanti, MI. Was it totalled because the air bags didn't deploy? Am I going to get any of my down payment back? Vehicle was only two months old.

Great Family Vehicle

This vehicle has done great for our family get aways, we have driven it on 8 hour road trips after our purchase and it has done amazingly well for us. We have no issues nor complaints, comfortable ride and great gas mileage. Love my vehicle.

Love this beautiful car!

Love everything about this car except for the drink holders in the front. They need to be a bit bigger!! Love the purse holder. Love the technology. Love the sun roofs. Love the interior color (I have the light color)

Vehicle doesn’t hold its value

Not a bad car but because you are giving the Santa Fe away the value of my car is down over $10,000 in 4 months. I will never buy another Hyundai again.

nice features. not being able to disengage the auto turn off is annoying. Car doesn't have enough acceleration capacities. Cruise control is somewhat jumpy.

Very good experience overall

We have had a great experience overall, we have only had one issue. Our Driver side window got a small crack in it which has grown to the entire window now and I will have to get that window replaced.

Bells and whistles

Auto settings are out of control. I don't like having the auto off feature the default setting every time I get in the vehicle. When stopped at a light and the engine powers down it takes too long for the vehicle to start up when I want to take a left turn across traffic coming. It seems unsafe to me because it does not react like I want it to and sort of sputters to get going leaving me exposed to oncoming traffic too long. Make it an option not the default. I also don't like the feature alarm that tells you when you are beside something as you back out of your garage. It just goes off like crazy and I end up turning it off which doesn't help for when I am backing out into the alley. Make it an option where you can just have the front and back alarms and no side alarm if you want it. I also don't like the fact that you can't unlock the passenger door when the car is started even when you have the fob in your hand and use the unlock button on it. I have to go back around to the driver side and use the unlock feature in the door to unlock it. What is the reason for that? I have the key and I am at the door pushing the button on the fob. That should open it. There also should be the ability to start the vehicle with the fob from a distance so you can cool it down before you get to it. I do like the lane assist and follow behind cruise control features though.

I don’t understand what this question refers to

I get frustrated with the technology every day. I watch the videos and still have problems understanding why it works one day and not the next. This is not because I don’t use tech, because I DO….but this car is a mess.
