Great vehicle

I love everything about my car. My only negative is when 3rd row seats are up there isn't much trunk space. It rides smooth Great gas mileage Instrument panel is very visual

Driveline failures are a concern for long term reliability

After only a few days of ownership the rear differential failed and it took a month to get the vehicle back. At first we were hopeful it was a one off and sometimes things fail. For a while this seemed to be true. The vehicle was running well, getting good gas mileage, it was comfortable and we were enjoying the vehicle with some minor electrical nuisances. Unfortunately it would randomly go into limp mode and the transmission wouldn't shift. You could restart the car and it would be fine again. Eventually they did replace the transmission but now the vehicle is sluggish, often doesn't downshift and gets significantly worse mpg than before. We are also getting random push button start messages and shift to park messages even when in park. The latest issue is the over the air updates keep failing and it sends me several messages a day. Even if you follow their instructions it still fails.

Unreal amount of recalls !

I am amazed at the number of recalls and when I bring it to the dealer they tell me I have to come back because the part is not in stock. I live 30min from the dealer and this is super inconvenient for my wife and I. We wait hours for them to install the recalls and several time had issues afterwards. We will not be going with Hyundai when this lease is over

Quirks

Love my Santa fe calligraphy- but has been a love/hate since buying in 2024, there have been a few recalls, issues with the infotainment connections, faulty tires, misfires, and countless other things that have come up. Hoping all the quirks are worked out! Overall, the earthy bronze color gets heads turning and I love the color as well. The engine is quiet, the ride is smooth and the features are wonderful.

Overall Very Good Vehicle

Happy with our purchase, but have had three recalls since purchasing. One major recall (transmission) and two less critical, but two required extensive repair time, during which we were without our vehicle (complimentary loan of a vehicle however).
