Great, but a couple nits

Car is nice, comfortable, and my model has lots of bells and whistles, which I like. I do have a couple nit-picks tho.... Since the display is so large, there is very little room for AC/Heat vents. they are small and not much output. I live in FL and AC is definitely needed most days of the year. Also, no second row ventilation controls, just two small vents which are controlled from the front dash. The third row has controls, but no one in my world will ever sit back there. A minor nit, is no place to store sunglasses in the overhead. I do like that the center console is two-tiered since the transmission shifter if on the steering column. (that took some getting used to) Overall, I like the vehicle, but a couple things could be better, as mentioned.

Good vehicle

Good vehicle could use some help with design but it looks like the newer model has an even better design. Worried about reliability and longevity with other vehicles issues but haven’t experienced any issues yet with my own.

Santa Fe

Great for short trips or the long haul with loads of friends or "stuff". Dog loves the back hatch area. Her bed fits perfectly and the rear air keeps her cool on the hot Florida days.

First Hyundai, Good Experience So Far …

I've enjoyed the vehicle and have more positive to say than negative. Sound system could be improved, breaking feels inconsistent at times, and engine feels sluggish on occasion. Quiet and comfortable.

Too many trips to service

I leased a 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe, and while I truly love the way it looks, I’ve been extremely disappointed with my experience. Since getting the vehicle, I’ve had to make multiple trips to service for recalls and issues that shouldn’t be happening with a brand-new car. The biggest disappointment is the dashboard and display system. I made it clear before signing my lease that this was the most important feature to me. Yet, from day one, it has only worked maybe 10% of the time. I’ve taken the vehicle back at least three times, even provided video footage of the issue, but every time I’m told they “can’t replicate it” and therefore can’t fix it. It’s beyond frustrating to be locked into a lease with a vehicle that doesn’t deliver on the one feature I specifically asked for. I would have never agreed to lease this car had I known this would be the outcome. Now I’m stuck with a high payment for a Santa Fe that does not work as promised, and I feel let down by the lack of accountability or resolution.

Average at best. For $50k it shouldn’t have glitchy systems.

HVAC system is great at full blast. Anything else it doesn’t maintain a comfortable level and is drafty. The auto shutoff feature should not turn the car off on open roads if you are waiting to turn either. The turbo timing is terrible from sitting still to moving if trying to turn or take off from a hill start. Matte paint is soft and very scratch prone. Door lock/unlock features are glitchy by button or remote. Will not buy again.

Awesome vehicle

After a year and a half, I continue to be impressed with this car. It has performed flawlessly, remained squeak and rattle free, and still stands out in a field of look alike SUVs- and yes, I mean the "controversial" rear end too! I love it!

The warning sounds are to severe, I think I'm doing something wrong .

The model has no way for me to program for my garage door, the warnings are ridiculous and if I could turn them all off I would. There is a constant hesitation when at a stop even if the engine is on.

Disappointed as someone who's had 5 hyundais

My windshield wipers hop across my windshield no matter what I put on. The vehicle is very lurchy when crawling forward from a stop. Less than 10k miles and it feels like my rotors need to be turned. The car is clearly not made to last be worked on and designed to die at warranty expiration.
