My Santa Fe

First off, I work part time for a vehicle rental company. I have the opportunity to drive many vehicles from different manufacturers. In the last eight years I have been very impressed with the vehicles from Hyundai/Kia. Through a series of events my daughter needed to purchase a new car and we look at a '24 Santa Fe with less than 800 miles on it. Two years earlier I had the opportunity to drive a brand new '23 Santa Fe Limited and, I was quite impressed with it. I liked all of the options that it had for the price. When the new generation came out it really caught my eye. Fast forward to June 2025, I went with my daughter to look at a number of '24 Santa Fe's at a dealer in Sheboygan Wisconsin. She eventually fell in love with an Ecotronic gray Limited and purchased it. I was so impressed with it and all of the features that it had made me want one myself. Four days later I purchased one from the same dealer. I purchased a Phantom Black Limited and suprised my daughter with my purchase. The options, ride and build quality are excellent. For the price, I think that Hyundai hit it out of the ballpark. I've driven many luxury cars that as far as I'm concerned, couldn't hold a candle to this vehicle for the money. I love this car and I couldn't be happier.

Good vehicle; service issues

The Santa Fe overall gets good gas mileage and drives well. There were quite a few recalls. The service department at Johnson Hyundi in Apex NC may be renamed the no service department. I have waited on 3 occasions 4 hours for an oil change. It is a 6 week wait to make an appointment.

I love my car! The only thing I have issue with is the cell phone charging area. It needs to be magnetic. I find that driving causes phone to shift and it does not charge.

Great features, ok mechanics

The 2024 Santa Fe has all the upgrades with entertainment console, third row seating and safety features. However, I bought mine new and the transmission was replaced at 6,000 miles. Additionally, the computer system seems glitchy.

was a good car all around

I had the car for one year. I traded it for a different make because I could not get the dealership to repair/ service it properly, it was my 6th and probably last Hyundai Kia product, sad because they make a decent car.

Only complaint is the placement of the camera for the face. My husband likes to drive with his hand on the top of the steering wheel and this is an issue.

I loved my Santa Fe, and now another does. Hello Palisade.

I really love the performance, ride, and comfort of my Santa Fe. I thought after a year of ownership that this was a keeper. As much as I truly enjoyed my Santa Fe,got a 2026 Palisade. I love this brand.

8 months of repairs, so far.

I love the look of my new vehicle, and the versatility. However in total it’s been about 8 months of loaners for miscellaneous repairs that the vehicle has needed and I have hardly gotten to enjoy it since I purchased it in 02/2024
