Great car overall - wish gas mileage was a bit better.

This would be a perfect vehicle if you could have gotten it with all the power and a hybrid drive train. But you give up HP for hybrid. Overall great vehicle, all the features, reasonable price, excellent warranty. Would buy it again, but always want better fuel mileage without having to go full electric.

Good Vehicle, but Service is Not so Good

This is our first time owning a Hyundai vehicle and the experience has been mixed with both joy and disappointment. We bought our 2023 Santa Fe used and really liked it. Our disappointment came when we had to take it in for service for warranty work. We dealt with two dealers in the Nashville area and both were equally disappointing. Our main complaint was about the excessive wind noise from both driver and passenger windows. A tech from one of the dealers took a drive with us and witnessed the same noise. But, the service department manager refused to fix the issue and said the noise was normal. Needless to say that the rumor about Hyundai don't like paying for warranty claim was actually true! Then, to add more frustration, the other dealer service department returned our vehicle back to us with oily fingerprints all over our car (which was cleaned when we took it in.) As owners of many brands of vehicle we have never experience this level of incompetency and denial of service from any of the dealers. We can now honestly say that this is our first and 'last' Hyundai we'll be owning.

Very good

The only issue I have is with the rear view mirror. I had a 2019 that had the smart rear view mirror that had a dimming effect also let your control the garage with as opener.

2023 Hyundai Santa Fe vehicle review after two years

The vehicle is very advanced in technologies handling it very smooth sitting is quite ample in the storage is large. They complain is probably the breaking time, that might be the same as the other SUVs. overall, I'm very happy with this vehicle.

Excellent vehicle with no issues at all.

The best SUV on the market at the moment I bought this car, by far. It is even better than the new (ugly) model. Just need a couple of adjustments, like adding a big screen like the 2025 models.

Mostly excellent

Strong engine, smooth ride, lots of technical bells & whistles. Must plug in for apple car play. Too bad there’s not a Bluetooth connection for that. Oil pan gasket needed replacing at the 10k mark, a weakness of design. Love the advanced safety features which work well. I’m not disappointed.

Electronics Could be better

My second Santa Fe. A bit better than my first one re: engine performance, Loved the heads-up display but had to step up to Calligraphy to get it. This car throws the emergency braking system unnecessarily less often and with shorter duration than my 2017. I traded the 2017 because of this fault. Try staying in lane at 60 mph, well behind the car in front, no issue with cars in adjacent lanes, and the 2017 hits the emergence brake hard thus scaring the hell out of us. Disappointed that the 2023 also does this,
