Too many electronic issues.

Multiple times I bought the car in for issues they initially said they couldn’t find. Acted like I didn’t know what I was talking about. But ultimately after pressuring them on multiple visits, they did find issues. It should’ve been fixed the first time

Great vehicle

I've put almost 70K miles on it in 3 years. 2 sensor issues and new tires are all that has happened. Other than that perfect car. 26MPG all over the country. Just an affordable nice driving SUV!

2023 Hyundai Sante Fe Pros and Cons

Good driving car, however I prefer gear shift to push buttons. Like the electronics. Do not like position of the storage compartment on the center console. It is too far back and hard to access with right hand. Would be easier if it were farther forward. Part of problem is that seat wings are constricting. The most annoying thing is that the front bucket seats are uncomfortable. They feel too hard and restricting. It's difficult to move around in them or even turn body to look in the back.

Beautiful inside and out

The dealerships service departments are extremely expensive!! I was charged an outrageous amount to look at my vehicle because it died on me while I was driving. I was very unhappy with that.

Great vehicle

Great vehicle honestly except for one huge negative. To not be able to program a garage code seems crazy. This should be an option no matter what style of the Santa Fe you have. I paid a lot of money for a honestly great car but how do you miss adding that as a standard feature.

Solid performer with some minor cost reduction

Good ride, good performance, great design all reminiscent of my 2019. I miss the adjustable rear seat, the sun glasses holder and find the touch screen is not as responsive as previous model. The wireless charge feature is not ready for primetime as it overheats our phones when charging.

Overall my owner experience has been good.

I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because recently, when my vehicle had less than 25,000 miles, the ITM (Internal Thermostat Manager) had to be replaced which was disheartening since I take extremely good care of my vehicle. In addition, the replacement process was plagued with issues that where both inconvenient and required immediate correction.

My Santa Fe Calligraphy

Wonderful SUV with all the bells and whistles found in much more expensive SUV’s. I love driving it and very responsive and comfortable for travels. All the safety features are great and it is rated one of the top safest vehicles available. Its crash avoidance system has come in handy more than a few times, and before I could respond. I am sure I could have stopped before a collision, but the extra second or two gave me the extra security advantage. I’ve owned 3 previous Santa Fe’s and they have all been good solid vehicles. Plus they have the best warranty in the market.

It is now 2025 and I am still a proud owner of the 2023 Santa Fe. It performs well, it’s so safe, and the comfort is amazing! It’s good on gas too! Two of my family members own Hyundais!
