Santa Fe has been very reliable our first 2.5 years of ownership.

We like the responsiveness and handling. We also like the design and exterior looks. We aren’t thrilled with the console and drink holders. We have noticed the newer designs have changed and now have cup holders side by side which would be better. We aren’t thrilled a with the information system as it is cumbersome and slow to respond. It is also confusing and not as user friendly as we would like. Cars have way too many bells and whistles nowadays which are not necessarily needed and adds to the cost. We prefer simplicity and ease of use.

Hyundai Santa Fe

The car is good (my 7th Hyundai). I was spoiled with a 2012 Santa Fe SE (still running). The interior and features of the 2023 pale in comparison but the car is still a reliable Hyundai. I should have explored the Palisade or the Tucson (which I bought for my daughter). Otherwise, ok.

Positive for the most part but the engine is too loud. There needs to be more insulation under the hood to control the excesses noise.8

Hyundai Santa Fe

This is our 2nd Santa Fe and we have enjoyed them both. The gas milage is a little disappointing, about 24-25 on the freeway at about 70-75 mph. We do NOT like the push button shift, especially when backing up, and then shifting to drive. Sometimes there are too many bells and whistles. Cruising down a straight freeway, both hands on the wheel, and often the little window pops up, "Keep Hands on the Wheel". The front grill is too busy. I like a simpler one.

Tracking vehicle is way off on the app.

I took a screenshot of a vehicle tracking. And it said it was a successful tracking from January of 2015. Time was off and it is not reliable.

The small compartment under the shift buttons is very awkward. Difficult to access from either side. All #9 are related to comment mentioned.

My first Hyundai was a Santa Cruz which I lease the first year they were available. While I liked the Santa Cruz, I felt the Santa Fe suited me better and made the exchange.

Apparently the car wash was not working properly so instead of correcting it I was left with x’s on the side of my car.

This is my second Santa Fe, and overall I am happy with it. I don't love some of the "safety features," and I wish less road noise came through. Other than that, I love it.
