Nice vehicle. Very underpowered

I'll be honest. I'm having buyer's remorse. I guess I never really stepped on it when test driving, and now I'm stuck with a vehicle I don't really like all that much. A turbo version would have probably solved that issue, but I've had friends who had nothing but problems with their turbos, and I'm a bit leery of buying one.

Great Vehicle

I was looking to trade in a Tucson for a truck and almost decided against this truck due to my experience at a dealer with my last Hyundai. I went with a different dealer and they met my needs with no hassle which added to my love for this truck. It is similar to the Tucson but very updated. All around I am super happy with the vehicle.

Santa Cruz Review

I love my 2025 Santa Cruz. Rides like a car and can utilize it like a small truck. The only negative thing I can say about the Santa Cruz, it does not come with the previous years “plug & play” towing harness. In order to make your vehicle tow ready, one has to remove the dash to install a module behind the fuse box, then attach the tail end of the harness at the rear of the vehicle (4 or 7 pin). Hyundai motor company you can do better.

At 3 months and 3700 miles, no problems with the vehicle itself except for transmission clutch shudder on the R-2-4-6-8 clutch pack. The transmission still functions and clutch shudder doesnt affect it at this time. The only complaint i really have is that the pinholes in the fake leather seats trap every little grain of dirt or anything else introduced to the vehicle. It would be nice if they were slightly larger or just didn't exist at all.

A truck that rides as a near luxury sedan.

Albeit ride quality doesn't quite match my previous luxury sedan, it comes awfully close. Very comfortable, quite zippy but smooth. The technology works flawlessly. I am enjoying the 2025 Santa Cruz very much, as has near luxury ride with a truck bed.
