Fast, tech-packed truck held back by shaky transmission, cheap feel
This truck surprised me with its speed and the variety of drive modes, but the transmission is my biggest concern—it sometimes feels like it’s slipping, and once it seemed to fall out of gear on the interstate. Fuel economy is average and falls short of the sticker estimate.
The tech is impressive, though the integrated charger is finicky. Interior design looks nice, but materials feel cheap for a $42K vehicle. The warranty is a plus, yet my service experiences with local dealerships have been frustrating.
I like the integrated bed cover, tie-down points, and storage compartment, though the cover storage takes up a lot of bed space. The stereo sounds great and Apple CarPlay works well, though it’s not wireless. Driver assists like cruise control, auto steering, and lane keeping are excellent.
Rear seats are uncomfortably upright for long trips. Overall, this is a fun, quick truck that works well for small projects and errands, but I question its durability.
