Luxurious interior featuring creature comforts at an affordable price.

This is my first Hyundai purchase...I appreciate the great styling and the powerful V-6 engine. It offers roomy interior with loads of creature comforts at an affordable price before all the dealer add ons (try to avoid those dealerships).

Palisade is a car with appeal

I had a small Hyundai car before the Palisade. It drove very well and I enjoyed driving it. But because of my age and my wife, we felt cramped. We decided to to look at the Palisade. The outward appearance was very pleasant. We drove one and both of us fell in love with the way it handled and drove. We had space to spare. I told myself and not my wife, no matter how much it cost, I was buying this car. I don’t regret buying this car. It will be my last car in this lifetime.

Near perfect

So I love my Hyundai Palisade but there is room for improvement. The stereo could be a lot better in my opinion. Also the assisted driving when you using the smart cruise control often drifts back and forth in the lane of travel. The smart system will also tell you when there is a red light camera or a speed control camera. However a lot of the time it doesn’t know what the speed limit is supposed to be, it will lower and raise the radio volume until your at speed it wants you to do or until you pass by the camera. I don’t need the help and it’s very annoying when it happens. Now the good stuff the drivers area is very spacious and the seats are comfortable. Both front seats are electric. The 2nd row seats area nice but not electric its not a bench seat and both flip for easy access to the 3rd row seats. 2nd row seats are also heated but not cooling. I love that when you open the hatch back there are controls back there to fold the 3rd row seats electrically. When the 3rd row seats are folded forward there is plenty of cargo space and is double when the 2nd and 3rd row are all folded forward. The sun and moon roofs are a nice touch for added ventilation when all the windows are closed the moon roof does not open but offers great views of the stars at night. The interior lighting is a very nice touch and a fan favorite of all passengers and the color can be changed to fit the mood of the night. Basically I love this vehicle and I’ve had many compliments. An added nice touch would be automatic folding mirrors for tight streets. There are to many good things to list. And what’s not to like about the warranty it’s says we stand behind our vehicles and was a major point when I was looking to purchase a new vehicle. This is my second Hyundai the 1st being a Santa Fe which I traded in on my palisade.

Absolutely love it. This is my 2nd Palisade.

Love it. This is my 2nd Palisade. Purchased this 2025 because it’s the last year with V6 engine. Don’t know what I’ll purchase when I’m ready to trade this one in due to engine change.

For the price, the fuel economy and stereo sound quality is very disappointing. The auto start/stop system is very annoying and useless considering the fuel savings does not outweigh the annoyance. At least add ability to permanently disable instead of having to disable every time the car is started.

We received a lemon, multiple shifter system issues.

We would absolutely love this vehicle if it worked properly. We have owned it for 60 days, and it has been in the shop for 45 of them as the dealership works to troubleshoot a major safety issue with the shifter system.

Beautiful Car

Love the Palidsade, Calligraphy. The engine mode selector takes some getting used to. Comfort is a little slow off the start. ECO actually drives and shifts better, sport is more responsive. Interior is well thought out. Technology wise there are some great feature. Passenger talk, wish it went both ways instead of one way. CarPlay has to be plugged in, RAM does a better job of that feature, but plugged in works. I’m a big guy, and it fits exactly right, not a lot of room to spread out, but I’m the exception. The all-wheel drive of the Calligraphy was the reason we upgraded to that and it’s worth it. But still would love to see just a little more power out of it overall. Because when there are 4 adults and 2-3 kids, the car can tell it’s full. The steering & Adjustable Cruise Control are pretty cool. I’m sure it will get even better in future models, but it works.

The 2025 Palisade SEL is a good car. There are just a few issues I need to mention. The handling isn't great, especially in the city. When I'm at a traffic light and it turns green, the car accelerates slowly, so all the other cars get ahead. It really doesn't have good handling. The second issue is its reliability. I'm worried about the reliability of my Palisade. Although I like it, I hope I can use it for several years without any problems.
