Love everything about the Palisade.

Quiet smooth ride, power train has plenty of power, there is no feature that the Palisade is missing. Roomy interior for the whole family comfortable.

So far so good

We bought this vehicle because we are expecting a 3rd child and needed a third row. I unfortunately have bad juju with Chevy and was looking at jeeps but there were just too many mixed reviews. Toyota was too small in the trunk for the price and I don’t want a mini van either. My spouse and I forgot about Hyundai initially but then something made it pop up. We took a palisade for a test drive and it passed the tics in my check list. I do wish the space in between the captain seats were a little bigger but we can manage. I also wish the back was about 5inches deeper but like I said it was still bigger than the Toyota. We’ve only had it for maybe 3 months so we are still exploring the vehicle but we all overall enjoy it. My model isn’t AWD and that is something I forgot to mention to the dealership so that is partly on me. Since this was my first purchase I am hoping it lasts a long time.

Best value for the money

The Palisade is a great vehicle for families who don’t want to ride around in a minivan. It has all of the luxury features you could ask for and is comfortable for long distance road trips. While it is very nice, there are a few items that could be improved particularly on the Calligraphy model: Apple wireless CarPlay is decommissioned if you have Hyundai’s navigation, exterior auto folding mirrors, electronic steering wheel adjustments, reduction of wind noise by the exterior mirrors, return to the original Palisade steering wheel, and a bit more acceleration when starting off (there appears to be a delay in acceleration with the exception of being in sport mode).

Lots of miles. Have achieved 30 mpg at 75 mph on multiple trips and averaged 10-12 mpg at 60 mph pulling a 3700 pound camper.
