Great Family Car

We have yet to find another comparable vehicle that feels as luxurious as our Palisade. It comfortably fits our family along with friends. Driving it doesn’t feel as responsive or sporty as others. It also had what felt like a stutter and were told it was the learning transmission. Not a fan of that. We’ve had it a year now and don’t notice it as much as we didn’t when we first bought it. Immediately after buying we did have to take it in because one of the seat bolts was not fully tighten and the driver seat would creak. Windshield wiper speeds aren’t great and the automatic function doesn’t work the way we’d like them to. We’ve just recently started noticing a cracking sound in the dashboard that is new.

Wonderful vehicle, just the paint chips too easy.

Great car, I enjoy almost everything except the paint chipping easily and there is no where to rest you elbows when your hands are on the steering wheel while driving.

Comfortable ride and handles well for it's size

Biggest negative is the fuel conservation feature that powers down the engine at stop lights or idling. I've been almost rear ended several times at the car wash because the car won't power up without hitting the brakes when shifting out of neutral at the end of the car wash to pull off the automatic ramp. I turn this feature of during normal driving as it's such a distraction and dangerous as the car lurchs when it powers back up. I can't turn it off in car washes so I have to warn the attendant not to put another car close behind me to avoid an accident. Also the dash design while nice has a safety flaw. The slant of the heating/cooling display panel creates a blinding glare when the sun comes through the windshield and bounces off it.

Easy to fall in love with but...

Smooth ride that has taken multiple trips up and down the east coast. Palisade has been great but... the coating on the grill is flaking off of a one year old vehicle. Great warranty but... dealer makes excuses as to why issue isn't covered. Flaking coating not a product issue it's a road debris issue. Funny how none of my other vehicles over the past 40 years had this issue.

This vehicle is a joy to own

The Palisade is a beautiful vehicle. It is comfortable to sit in whether driving or as a passenger. All of the things like the radio and navigation functions are so easy to operate. Even if you have questions about how to use a particular system there are very knowledgeable people at the dealership who will happily give you the information you need. I enjoy using the vehicle hot spot though I’d prefer a carrier other than Verizon who Hyundai partners with. The cabin is very quiet when the vehicle is moving. Service when required is outstanding. I would buy another Palisade.

Incredible value

My wife and I shopped around. We were devoted Toyota and Honda owners, but Hyundai offered way more for less money. Even the dealership was upscale compared to the other car brands.
