Good car, but could be better.

We bought this Palisade because it was the highest rated car in 2023 (consumer reports). Because of its rating, we had to not only pay the suggested retail price, but also an 8000 surcharge. The car lived up to expectations but then the armrests in the second row broke, and had to be fixed. Then this year (at 30000 miles) the awd assembly actuator had to be replaced. The ride became terrible, and it took several visits for the dealer to figure out what was wrong. The GPS sometimes takes us in round-about ways, but eventually gets us there. The car shutting off at stop signs has bugged us ever since we bought the car. So it is a good car, but didn't live up to the hype.

Over all the palisade is a really nice car for the price and the extras that you get. The only reason I didn’t rate it as a 5 I find that it hydroplane when it raining

Almost three years and going strong

When compared to other brands, makes, models the Palisade was a superior value. The heads up display is fantastic and it has BUTTONS instead of a distracting touch screen that you have to scroll through to make a simple suggestion - I can keep my eyes on the road instead of getting distracted. The Limited has leather throughout, and all row heated seats. I would like more head room, and I would prefer if it road higher but I would buy it again. Sadly, the Bluelink is a subscription for Hyundai years before '24, and the "3-year free service" is a scam. But the vehicle is solid.
