N-Line model awesome

The Kona N Line is an awesome car, it needs a bit more power, perhaps a 2.5L turbo better tire rims, more stylish so it's seperate from the other top line cars. Also more after market stuff would be nice, lowering kit?

It's been a cute and fun car to drive. Descent gas mileage, good interior. Been dependable and reliable. Hope it last a good long time. Got a good price on it and a good price for my trade. Will recommend it to my friends.

Nice small car

Had a Tucson, 2016, 300 miles from home heading for a weeks vacation on Emerald Isle. 30 miles from destination, engine blew. Thanks to NC Highway patrol, got authorized tow truck. Didn't know what or where to go. Truck driver suggested dealership 30 miles away. When we walked in, told them what happened. They asked two questions. 1. Were we the original owners...yes 2. How many miles on the car...99,125. Oh, he said as he turned to get a service order...you're still under warranty. We had 3 days to get out of our rental. Knowing they couldn't replace engine and drivetrain in that amount of time, we ended up purchasing a new Kona...and they allowed a nice trade in allowance.

Good Little Runner!

Easy to handle. Big and bright display. Car safety features alert you to pay attention to your surroundings. Warning signals remind you to share the road responsibility. Wish back seat and cargo area larger. Need more exterior color choices.

A pocket rocket !

A great performing small SUV. Responsive and stylish! Edgy! Pretty good mileage in the SMART mode. Nice pick up and performance in the SPORT mode. Excellent drivability in the snow and ice in the northeast. I'm 6 ft tall, good leg room and head space. Lights up well for nighttime driving.

A review on a new 2022 Kona Limited Bard on an email survey after 1 year of owning said vehicle. Went from driving over 2 hours every day with it to less than 1 hour every day. Very happy and satisfied with the vehicle.

Great Dealership, great service, Great salesperson Von!

Had not planned on buying a car, (was having headlights change in my old Santa Fe). A salesperson had literally just taken this Kona off the delivery transport. It was still wrapped in it’s protective wrapping. I came back with a friend to see it. I never had been so impulsive, but we test drove it and the determine factor would be if my 6ft husband could easily get in the passenger side. He could, and b bought it! I have loved it ever since.

Didn't buy it!

The vehicle is horrible. The engine power is almost non-existent and the shifting was awful. Mine actually turned out to be a lemon. I will never purchase another vehicle made by the Hyundai motor corporation.

Great choice for the class

For a small SUV, this is one of the most fun models on the market to drive. It also has good amount of features for the money. General build quality is very good and is surprisingly relaxing to drive thanks to good balance of comfort, handling, and excellent visibility.

Groove in rotor

I want my breaks fixed and they are not fixed yet even though the car has been worked on multiple times at this point I want the breaks replaced and I need the ac button that hyundai said they ordered to come in and be replaced

Catastrophic transmission failure at 16000 miles possibly life threatening

Transmission failed and car suddenly lost speed on an Interstate in traffic in the middle of nowhere and became undriveable posing serious risk of accident and stranding us and our car 530 miles from home only 2 weeks following a clean bill of health at a regular 16000 mile vehicle inspection. Unacceptable.

What a Ride!

When I was ready to purchase another vehicle, I searched the web on various makes and models. When I saw this vehicle on the dealership’s website, I knew I must check it out and that is exactly what I did and purchased it the same day. The Kona is a great vehicle, from appearance to gas mileage. The ride and handling of this vehicle is enjoyable and comfortable. good value for money

Its a Hyundai, price savings in exchange for some fit and finish, comfort issues. That's the deal. I have owned five Hyundai's. Same deal. My Kona fits right in there. Good performance, seems to be holding up well. seats are uncomfortable, so I bought an after market cushion. Road noise, wind noise about what you expect, too loud, so spend more for another car or live with it. My only real issue is the "software" side of things, the entire phone connectivity issues are well documented, and true. It is a huge pain. The so called "smart cruse control" isn't. I get this is a less expensive car. So either spend on the necessary engineering to do this sort of thing right, or leave it out.
