So far, surprisingly so good
Our relationship started off rocky but changing dealerships changed everything. We spent way too long at the dealership and waited far too long for the car to get delivered, prepped and ready. We left the next day for a cross country trip for Christmas and let's just say, we were both pleasantly surprised and inconvenienced. The car had not been fully prepared so strange noises appeared coming from under the hood. Protective films were not removed and had started coming loose. Thankfully it didn't get into moving engine components before I stopped to remove them. Key fobs weren't functioning which was a pain. After returning from vacation, we went to the dealership 3 times and they couldn't figure it out, blaming things that weren't possible. One trip to another dealership and they found the issue in under 30 minutes. Parts ordered and another trip had it solved with minimal time invested. Other than that, the car has been great. It's handling is great but at the expense of ride comfort. It's a little noisy but far better than comparable Nissan and Toyota models. All in all it's been a smart buy. Only big issue is the radio controls on the steering wheel. Up is down and down is up which according to my daughter in Korea, who spoke to Hyundai engineering, says is fixable, despite the dealership claiming the opposite.
