Mystery Solved
Have 58,000 miles on the very reliable 2014 Tahoe (always serviced at Bryan's), but an odd occurrence about a week ago in the parking lot at the gym. Started the engine and the rear access door opened. And closed. Without touching the hatch release button. It happened again in my driveway. And a day or two later at Safeway. Thankfully, it didn't occur while driving, just when stopped, motor running, in park.
Fob malfunction? A short in the hatch mechanism? A haunting?
Stopped in at Bryan's just before closing Wednesday. Josh inspected the door, and in short order he and a tech diagnosed the issue -- a failing liftgate release switch. I didn't ask for any special treatment, but Josh said he could get the part and squeeze me in for installation the next day.
Mission accomplished...and I didn't need holy water or an exorcist to restore the lift gate to normal function.
Five-Star customer service: At Bryan's, it's the standard, not the exception.

Idk if I will go back
Customer service was great and they fixed up my car which took a month. But when I got it back my bumper was barley on. And my skirt was all bent and scraped up

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We’re glad to hear that you found our customer service satisfactory and appreciated the effort our team put into working on your vehicle.

To clarify, your car was not at our shop for a month. You towed your car to our shop on March 20th, and your appointment took place on March 24th. After completing the clutch job and test driving the vehicle, our technician discovered that the rear passenger-side lower control arm had been damaged during the towing process. As a result, additional time was required to repair the control arm and perform an alignment to resolve the issue. You picked up the vehicle on April 3rd.

Regarding the front bumper, we want to emphasize that it is unrelated to a clutch job. When your vehicle arrived, it was not properly secured on the tow dolly you rented. This caused shifting and binding while your friend attempted to back it up. I personally observed the front bumper shifting and bottoming out during this process. You even joked with your friend about him being responsible for the bumper’s damage. Based on this, I am confident the damage you’re referring to did not occur at our shop.

We value transparency and accuracy and are always open to addressing concerns. However, we kindly ask that any feedback reflects an accurate account of your experience. Wishing you the best with your future repairs.

Chevy van diagnostic and repair
Brian‘s automotive has done an excellent job in maintaining all of our vehicles. Recently I took in a Chevy van that needed a lot of repairs. All of the areas were correctly identified, and repaired quickly and correctly. Their customer service was friendly and professional. Their prices are very reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone.

Matthew said they're great. He said he had to wait 3 to 4 hours for the return shuttle. He found out about his vehicle at 10:30 and was picked up at 2:30. They called him halfway through the wait to let him know the return shuttle would be running late. He said that was nice.

I took my husbands hybrid car here to assess some damage on it and everyone here was so nice and helpful! They even offered to give me a ride somewhere while my car was being looked at! After the car was looked at, they made sure to give me all the info they could and answered all of my questions no problem and were so nice about it! 10/10 service

Great care for my first Mini Cooper, and now my second one!
I find Bryan’s Automotive a very approachable and personable auto shop. Not everyone is comfortable or qualified to do maintenance on a Mini Cooper, but Bryan’s has always come through for me, not hesitating to explain how, why and what was done. The front waiting area is decorated with retro car paraphernalia, Route 66 decor, and items honoring our military…not a bad place to wait while work is being done. And the owner himself drives the shuttle! This shop has been around for years…confident and trustworthy.
