We call her Whisper

When in EV mode, the car whispers. Our first hybrid and getting used to the sounds. Appreciate the navigation, especially the “red light camera”notification. The windshield wipers do not raise all the way up, so clearing snow is not as easy as it should be. The floor runners on the inside of the doors seem to get wet/dirty from the way the water sheds off the outside of the car. I like that Whisper is sensitive to my approach, though sometimes when I walk past in the driveway the back door opens unintentionally.

Hyundai Tuscon 😊

I am enjoying the 2025 Hyundai Tuscon I purchased. It has powerful acceleration when needed, is comfortable, has a very sound sound system, and is easy to figure out the system. I especially enjoy the heated seat. I bought it in Palm Springs and within a couple of weeks drove it back home 2,100 miles to Minnesota with no problems. It also has plenty of room.

Wonderful car, but not perfect (yet)

I really like my 2025 Tucson hybrid: it drives well, is quite comfortable, is full of safety features, and has very good fuel economy. But, sometimes driving steadily uphill, the red high temperature light comes on, even when the engine temperature gauge on the instrument panel indicates a normal temperature. The dealership found nothing wrong, yet the issue continues. Wondering whether this a potentially serious problem subtracts from my confidence in the car, as I wonder "shouldn't my new car be problem-free for a few years?"

Pretty darn good, except….

Great vehicle. Unfortunately, I periodically have problem on my Tucson hybrid where ICE engine fails to start when it attempts to transition from EV to ICE. I’m left with having no power and must pull over to the of the road. Sometimes very dangerous. Happens maybe once every 25-35 trips.

so far we love it, although we have had a few problems

Hate the continual beep and reminder to keep my eyes on the road when the cruise control is on! It beeps every 60 seconds, so annoying that I can't use the cruise control!! Also when using the cruise control it automatically disengages and tell me to take control of the vehicle "immediately" een though I have both hands on the wheel!! Learning the infotainment center is going to take more time, a quick start manual explaining all the buttons and uses of the dash and steering wheel would have been nice to have.

This is a great car. I love it

I used to drive a Tesla Y. When I bought it several years ago I was blown away by all of the very cool features. My 2025 Ticson has all of that stuff and more. For example, the voice recognition on the Tucson is far superior.

With the exception of a little stiff suspension and a slight vibration at low speeds, my Tucson is excellent for my needs. (car only has 1300 miles on it)
