2023 Sonata hybrid blue

I am the original owner , I purchased it from a Hyundai dealer with 1,400 miles, so it was considered a used vehicle from Hyundai, . It was not certified because the dealer said it would add too much to the sell price to make it certified pre owned. Since this affected the warranty, the dealer picked up more than half the cost of the additional warranty olan

Good all around

That's really just it though. Just good. Average everything except gas milage, which is great. Some of the features are handy and I like the tech, but a few safety features that are extremely annoying.

The 2023 Sonata hybrid is a well worth the money

My Sonata Hybrid is great on gas mileage, is a pleasure to drive, and it is well worth the money. It is the third Sonata I have owned and I think this is the best of the three.

Excellent quality very good looking

Great fuel economy, the service is outstanding. Our service advisor, Amanda I couldn’t be more pleased with. Braking system has a German feel to it. The automobile has the most advanced safety systems of any vehicle under $70,000.. collision prevention assist is more active than German brands. I was shocked. I don’t wanna give any more compliments because I’m afraid you’re gonna raise your prices. The Hyundai Sonata hybrid is a real value.

2023 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Blue

I bought the Hybrid Blue model because I drive for UBER in Honolulu, where gasoline prices are second only to California, so its’ > 50 MPG average rating for combined hwy/city driving was very appealing; however, after over 60,000 miles, I’ve averaged just under 44 MPG. Still much better than the 20 MPG I was getting from the 2020 Hyundai Kona that I traded in for this car, but not quite what was advertised, but I realize that the >50 MPG can likely only be achieved if I operated it constantly using the adaptive cruise control where accelerations, etc., are much more moderate. Unlike the Toyota Camry Hybrids, this car seems to get much better MPG when operated on the highways and suffers a lot when driven in the city traffice. Overall though, it’s been a fun and comfortable car to drive.

2023 Sonata Hybrid

We love the car overall. On various highway trips I've gotten between 50-56 mpg - which is fantastic! The fit, finishes and the bells and whistles are great. My problem is with the technology. The dashboard illumination resets to 5 (out of 20) every time the car is shut off which means at night when I start up the car - it is very difficult to read the instrument panel, and I have to manually raise the intensity so I can see the panel. Sometimes I don't realize it until I'm driving and have to increase it while I'm driving (not safe but neither is not being able to see the panel). The illumination will not stay set to the intensity I want. I've complained to my Hyundai Dealer several times, but they have been unable to fix the problem. My other problem is with the front proximity sensors. When I'm stopped at a stop light, about 1 car length behind the car in front of me, the center sensor alarm will go on and off, then side sensor alarms will go off, one, then the other all while I'm sitting motionless. The cars around me are also motionless. The Hyundai Dealership has not been able to fix it since it will not do it while in the shop. These little things prevent me from giving it a 5-star rating. Also not having a spare tire annoys me.
