2024 Kona

I had a Hyundai Tuscan for 9 years prior to purchasing this Kona. Although I love this new SUV, I do see a huge difference in storage space. But the price was great!

Bad batteries

I love the car, bought it in November 2023. The next month the battery had to be replaced. Defective, they said. Since then the car has died twice on trips out of town and at least 3 times in my garage at home. The car has never sat more than 2 days without driving it. I had to get another new battery on 12/29/2025.

Great daily driver

I owned this vehicle and used it as my daily driver. Overall, my experience was positive. The Kona is easy to drive, compact, and very convenient for city and highway use. I liked the updated design, modern dashboard, and technology features. Fuel efficiency was good for everyday commuting. Seats were comfortable for daily use, though long drives could be improved.

The 5 star is a combined review!

The 5 star is FOR THE service techs, representative, teams and the sales teams who are all sooo attentive, welcoming, and just simply polite! I love the Kona, it is the perfect car for me. I strongly feel the problem I have with my Kona is due to the manufacturer versus the dealership and the individuals who are employed by the dealership. I have a defective knob on the dash that controls the volume of the speakers.

Not made for Maine winters

I live my Kona in the summer but not so much in the winter. The computer system has many glitches he's in the cold weather. You can't lift up the windshield wipers to get the snow and ice out from under them.
