Hyundai Kona 2023

Overall I like this car. Don’t like that sometimes the radio goes off for no reason. Also think the front seats could b more comfortable. I bought cushions for them.

Excellent gas milage but it does have some problems

Overall I would buy the Kona again if the minor problems are solved. 1. Serious lag when using the cruise control and trying to climb small hills. Can loose almost 10 mph before the cruise control kicks in and starts to get back up to speed. I suspect this uses more gas and does agrivate those following. Noisy in the car when traveling.

I liked my 2021 Kona Better than this one

I have always had Hyundai cars. This 2023 model has the shutoff while stopped and more than once has shut off at a light while on a hill.This is a ridiculous feature and now I’m hearing that they may do away with it, which doesn’t help me. The car is just basic and at the end of the lease I hope I will be able to get onto a different car as I’m not thrilled with this one.

Coolant leak before 3,000 miles

My Kona has less than 3,000 miles on it and has/continues to leak Coolant. It's been in mechanics once already and will have to go back given the coolant leak continues. Needless to say I am not pleased nor impressed. Hunter dealership is fine (and always trying to please me), this is a Hyundai car issue.

Very satisfied with the performance and the way the car handles

Very happy with the way the car is handled. The only thing is that emergency stopping when the car is next to you. That’s a little dangerous. There should be a way to control it the sensitivity of it.. an infusion on the 22nd what time I’ll find out Rosemary I don’t know another $150. Please write the following.

Surprising quality and value.

A good, reliable AWD vehicle under $30,000. Ride is comfortable and sporty. It handles the hills, twists and turns which are a part of driving in West Virginia. Passenger room is a bit cramped and headroom for me was closer than I liked, especially compared to the Kia Soul; but THAT vehicle isn’t available in AWD like this one. Fit and finish is typical for this price range but it’s a fair trade off for the tech offered even in the entry level package. Cruise control is slow to recover speed after braking but again, for the price that is a fair trade off. This vehicle has been more than we expected.
