Nice EV and good bang for the buck.
Overall, I am actually satisfied with my IONIQ 6 SEL AWD. First, I am a crazy car enthusiast and have owned quite a bit of cars. This is my 2nd EV. I owned a 2024 Tesla Model 3 Long Range AWD, before this vehicle. In comparison, my Tesla had smoother software and app integration. The Tesla app works quickly, without delay, and there aren't any messages about waiting. The Tesla had 17 speakers with dual subwoofers. It had rear seat heaters, both front seats with power adjustments, cooled and heated. The steering wheel was also heated. The car cost me less than my IONIQ 6!! On to my IONIQ 6. My IONIQ 6's audio system is VERY SUBPAR!!! I've listened to the Limited's Bose audio system, with subwoofer and it is still not that great. I've read about this complaint several times, on several Hyundai car forums. My IONIQ 6 does not have a subwoofer because I do not have the Limited trim. I absolutely hate it. Even if I had the Limited trim, I would have ended up with a subpar Bose model in it. In my opinion, this must be improved right away! For the price of this car, it should have a better audio system as a standard! Next, the IFS system should also be standard in this vehicle. It appears that the hardware could already be in my car, but it is not enabled. The IFS is a great safety feature that should be standard in all the models. Become the standard, Hyundai! Don't try to meet it all the time.
Also, I feel the front trunk is barely usable. It's small!!! It seems like an afterthought. The rear trunk is also on the smaller side. I really wish it was a bit bigger. Another option I wish we had was the option to have smaller 18" wheels to help with the range. The 20" rims are usually what I would go for, but I wanted my IONIQ 6 to have aggressive sporty looks and range. I was hoping for the best of both worlds of sporty aggressiveness and efficiency. What about a black out package, to help give the car that "sinister" look? A blacked out "N" version of this vehicle, without some crazy price tag, would be so awesome!! Can you guys make the screen slightly bigger? It's ok, but I think about 1" to 1.5" taller would be perfect. It would also be great if you would enable WIRELESS android auto and carplay. This seems to be only available with the Limited. This feature is standard on other "lesser" cars, but I can't get it in my beautiful IONIQ 6!!! Why is that? Listen Hyundai, you guys seem to be on a roll!! Please go and directly challenge your competition!! Sporty looking cars that are reliable sell. Isn't it already obvious with the IONIQ 5? Also, if you guys actually read this, I haven’t received my NACS adapter! Please send me my adapter soon. Thanks!
