This car has a lot of recall issues
We purchased the Hyundai IONIQ 6 from Carvana in Sept of 2025. We were excited by its look, its comfortable interior, all the extras it offers and to be free of the price of gas. However, before the year was up, we received a letter for two or three issues that were recalled. We scheduled the warranty work and took it in in Dec 2025. Within a month, the car was telling us maintenance work was required on our car, which only had 11,000 miles on it. The message would appear and then turn off. Finally, after 3 weeks, we got in the car to go home and a LOUD alarm sounded within the car telling us to pull over immediately and get the car towed. Luckily, we were only 2 miles from our house, so we drove home and parked the car. We called Hyundai who towed the car to a dealership, where we had to wait three days to even get a diagnosis that the part needed to fix the car is on backorder with no known date of arrival. The very best scenario is we will be out of a car for a MONTH!!!! The dealership has been its own set of problems to deal with (no one answering phones, no return phone calls even when they are scheduled and promised, no Ubers even when they are scheduled, etc.) I would not recommend this car at this time.
