Well-Built EV!

My 2023 IONIQ 6 has been a decent car and is a strong pick if you’re after a refined EV. The ride is exceptionally smooth and quiet. Also, it easily soaks up bumps and road imperfections. It favors comfort over sportiness, with steering and suspension tuned for a calm, composed feel, and it offers regenerative braking that supports easy one-pedal driving. The real-world range varies by trim and conditions, but overall efficiency is solid and competitive within its class. If you value a distinctive design and a serene, well-equipped interior, the IONIQ 6 deserves a serious look alongside its EV peers.

A kick to drive. Non-existent promotion

The vehicle is very handsome looking, with comments about it looking very Porsche-like. Acceleration is what would be expected from an EV., What is very disappointing is the absence of any advertising or promotion of this vehicle, although it continually receives outstanding reviews in automobile magazines. In the 2 years I have had this vehicle, I have seen no more than 7-8 other Ioniq6's on the road.

Love this car

What would make this car better? More color options, let me get higher trim levels but with 18” wheels, wireless CarPlay. I don’t love window controls on the center console but I’m getting used to it. Aside from the above this my favorite of recently owned vehicles.

Great mileage, reliable car

I've had my Ioniq 6 for 2 years and 20,000 miles. No operational problems at all. Fun to drive. Handles snow very well. I do wish it had more usable cup holders and that the trunk was a bit bigger. Otherwise, great car. Very happy with it.

The car is great. The charging is another story.

The car itself I love charging accessibility is a real problem, especially in the lower Valley of Texas in my current Social and Familia circumstances the charging issue is acceptable even adequate, but would not be so for a lot of other folks, I’m afraid

Great daily drive with some issues

Great car to drive. HDA 2 makes commuting so easy. Overall very happy with the tech and build quality with 2 exceptions. The first is having the ICCU replaced. I understand this is a common problem so won't go into too much detail but overall a horrible experience. The second was the panaromic sunroof exploded for no reason. A scary incident and although my understanding is that this is a random event is unacceptable. This said, the service department at Manly Hyundai in Santa Rosa was fantasic Jennifer and the group are amazing. Even with these two events/item, I would strongly consider Hyundai as my next purchase given the overall strong value proposition (great ride, easy to drive, overall quality)

Ioniq 6, bought used, 4300 miles on purchase

I love the car, with a couple caveats. On our first long drive, the vehicle entered limp mode. A little googling strongly suggested that it was the electric oil pump. It was a struggle to get a dealership to check this despite a full explanation and presentation of Hyundai's own alert. No problems since it was repaired, but I haven't taken as long a drive either. Everything else so far (6 months of ownership) is a minor quibble. I'd like to have dark mode for my display, for instance. It drives well, and I hope to get a lot of mileage out of it.

Beautiful but quirky car with a few things not ready for prime time

Definitely made a mistake paying full price for this car. It is not worth anywhere near the price I paid and Hyundai proved that by offering deals just 6 months later that would have saved me 25% at least. Car has all-wheel drive problems and interior design issues.
